The laws that banned werewolves being out at night or forcing their packs to live in the forest was wrong. But that ended a long time ago. Werewolf pups born today and no experience of that. And is it ridiculous to say the pups are mauling man, vampire, and wolf alike because of things that happened to werewolves way before they were born. Humans enslaved humans for centuries but you don't see us biting each other or howling at the moon on a school night.

The vampires can be weird when you see them walking together outside dressed in their suits. But I know if a vampire is behind me I will be okay. I would cross the street if a werewolf was coming in my direction. I have a right to feel safe in my community. I don't even know why they have to be in our communities. Why can't they just stay in the woods? We give them free stuff. The lest they can do is stay in the woods. The faeries stay in the woods among their own when they aren't working. Why can't the werewolves be like the faeries?

Au contraire, there is generous record of bites given by humans and the pets of humans. Anecdotally, I'll occasionally have a human neighbor who howls at the moon and during other various times of the day and night, but I'm pretty sure they aren't werewolves. Patterns don't match up. And much more common, persistent nuisance barkers and people who just let their dogs evacuate wherever without scooping it up.

Most werewolves outside of the criminally violent aren't going to be inserting themselves into positions dangerous for others when the full moon is approaching. Peace is fragile and the last thing the beleaguered population needs is another purge. Speaking of which, they're even less numerous than transgendered people (finding a transgender werewolf must be like spotting a unicorn). Why are you so focused on werewolves anyway? Did you cuck one behind their back? Threaten to poison their dog?

Each magical being has different needs and common or stereotypical preferences, but variations do exist among individuals. Urban faeries are a thing, though generally not the rule, and I don't really blame them. Faeries don't so much live in the forests and other parts of the wilderness as those are a gateway to their own private realms where mundane things like time and reality are polite suggestions, and the foul manners and superstitions of humans are an ongoing joke. Still, you should probably politely decline food from the fae, if for no other reason than it makes most humans gassy. They'll understand.

I bet uzique angered some sort of shrine entity by browbeating it with his Vastly Superior knowledge of Korean culture, and that's why he's not around these days. He won't be allowed back on bf2s to pick things up with dilbert until he learns to respect the Old Ways. Otherwise, vampires do in fact drink blood and suck people's souls. Werewolves rip people to bits and eat them, or turn them into new werewolves.

Is it realistic to think that inviting either into your community will change their ways one iota?

Driving home from work I occasionally pass someone walking along dress as ... something. Long cloak, high collar, leather boots. Certainly an oddball.

We are talking about the werewolves here, Dilbert. The werewolves are the real problem. The werewolves have made the inner cities unsafe. The vampires are okay.

You are obsessed with the vampires we all know it. You complain about them displacing the elves after World War 2 and building new castles in enchanted elf land. I bet you are hoping the goblin theocracy gets nukes to threaten the vampires. Do you also chant "death to the vampires!"?

I do think the vampires can protect themselves though. They kicked elf ass in the 6 Night War.

I am thinking of transitioning into a cowboy.

At the wedding I went to last weekend there was a photo booth with props. One of the props was a cowboy hat.

I chose the hat. Or maybe the hat chose me. Either way, I took a picture with the cowboy hat plus the suit I was wearing and it looked really good.

I genuinely feel like a cowboy. It wasn't until I put on the hat did I realize what those feelings I have always had were.

There are probably a lot of people in my area who identify as a cowboy too. They just don't feel comfortable doing so because they don't have media representation.

Whenever I walk into a room I have a strong desire to yell "howdy y'all." I would like to plow snow in Montana. I was very critical of that Hollywood guy wanting to plow snow but that was merely me acting out because I couldn't express how much I wanted to plow snow.

I would like to wear cowboy boots outside and not just in the safety of my own home. People would just have to accept that. Maybe change my username too. I am no longer Macbeth but instead I shall become Marlboro Man. Either that or I will go by Cowboy Mac. Cowboy is my preferred pronoun.

I have been marginalised for my country ways since moving to the city. My accent, my dress style, even my particularly Aussie slang all stands out against the privately educated city sticking blue collar workmen (and women) around me. "go on FF Adams_Bj, say 'strewth' again."

Opera now has native 'islands' for tabs, allowing me to have like 80 open at once in relative peace. All my unfinished youtube videos are now in one massive, minimizable super-tab for me to ignore for the rest of the year. Ebooks in another. I can right click it and copy the address of every single contained tab to the clipboard. Fantastic vanilla feature. You can save islands to the speed dial as well. Unfortunately, my speed dial is overflowing with every single page I've ever ctrl+d'd.
