I like metamizole.
It's the most potent NSAID, but has barely any of the adverese effects on the gastrointestinal tract or the liver like ASA and its derivates or paracetamol.
It has been banned in several countries though, including the USA, because of a small risk of agranulocytosis, which is debated though.

I've been using triptans several years ago, but stopped doing so.
While they were quite effective in aborting the pain phase of a migraine attack and fast responding (especially the nasal spray), they didn't seem to help me against the other aura symptoms (nausea, scintillating scotoma, sensory aura).

Now I'm just trying to use an analgesic as soon as possible, varying between metamizole, mefenamic acid and ASA.
If possible, sleeping with my head pressed between pillows and wearing ear plugs is beneficial.

The students applauded and all registered Republican that day and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior.
