I was trying out the New AA after the patch, and was trying to lock onto the MEC Chopper. As I was trying to obtain lock he hit his flares, at this point I though he was toast, but he just kept droppin flares. The pilot prob droped 5 sets of flares in succession. At First I thought I might just have seen it wrong as another chopper was also flying close and releasing flares. Then I was watching my bro and the same thing happend to him twice. He had lock, but no use due to infinate flares.

Was wondering if anyone else has seen this Hack?
If so how is it done?

I can picture the fag laughing as he just drops flares ignoring all the missle lock beeping.

yeah i think its a bug, sometimes flares get dropped one after another and sometimes none at all

I don't think its an exploit. A clever helicopter pilot can spil altitude to stay amongst his flares, and by the time they finally get too far away, they are back up to be deployed. Not that this only works for short periods of time, as the amount of height you can afford to "spill" is rather strictly limited.

I think they increased the flare-rate, at least on helicopters.

I'm also fairly sure they reduced aa-missile damage along with the aircraft hp nerf.
They had to have, otherwise one aa-missile would kill jets outright.

It is a bug i saw it twice. It only happens in MEC chopper.

My friends and I saw it last night. Mi-28 dropped like 30-40 flares to keep from being hit. It has to be a bug.

I don't mind the patch. Still a few glitches that are agravating but like I said in another thread; adapt and overcome.

Man! I had a very simalr thing happen to me ( was it in a SF game? ) a had a post asking if there was a Flare hack out. The thing just rained flare 5 then 3 then 5 then 3 all game long.

Have yet to see this myself but who cares because all you have to do like sleepy127 said is to just aim above it and Whamo! One less chopper whoring it up!

this is a bug, you cant see it when you;'re flying the chopper in any view (f10, f11 or f12), but only others can. everyones probly done it before without realising. from what i know you just press the flares button continuously and it keeps dropping flares.

only have seen it once on operation clean sweep it was a black hawk continuesly dropping flares for at least five minutes before a jet flew into him
