when ever i join a game it seriously lags and buildings and aircraft carriers and things dont appear even when i standing on them [this all happened after the new patch]

All that survey is saying is that 700,000 people who are registered with and play Valve games, don't have the necessary hardware to play BF2.
That's probably cos they're still all playing cs and dod, and never needed to upgrade their machines cos the engine for those is like 11 yrs old now.
It does not say that because of patch1.2 --- 700,000 people can now not play BF2
Or 700,000 people who bought BF2 can't play it !!!!

I have Gerfoce FX 5200 And I can still play it and all houses & everything are there but its lagging. Have to play in 640*480 or 400*300.
