I think it should be wise to make a list of very possible changes to the new forthcoming 1.21 patch.  Here are some definite possibilities of change


- Claymores will have reduced trip radius

- Fixed AA guns

- A small increase in chopper hitpoints.  Its pretty damn hard for American forces to beat Wake Island 2007 for instance.

-Fix unlimited Flares from Blackhawk

-Reduce PKM accuracy?  (i personally don't think this will happen.  its fine the way it is imo)

I hope nothing else is fixed, because this game has gotten to be 100x more enjoyable since they nerfed a lot of exploits.

PKM shouln't be that accurate, so decrease its accuracy a little... MG36 is fine though..

The only thing that bugs me is one part that says "A limited beta test to ensure it works or something" My question is why did they not think of this before.

allow us to c4 chuck but put a delay in which we switch from c4 to detonator remote or SOMETHING that allows spec ops to kill tanks without having the tank driver being a complete retard or getting the c4 to where it should be without getting raped

As far as I'm concerned, the patch is fine for the most part. The support weapon accuracy is fine, as is the AA accuracy. yeah, a bug fix would be good, now it has been brought to my attention that I have experianced a second bug whilst playing ingame.
- No firing sound glitch - didn't know it was a glitch until it was pointed out here.
- Unlimited flares. I mistakingly called the offender a hacker.

I heard this suggestion from someone else on the forums but just change the over head names for each team one color, US - blue, PLA - red, MEC - orange. Then there won't be too much of a problem.

What I think is that the developers don't know what's causing the bug and they keep trying to cover it up. And I know programming that in wouldn't be any problem whatsoever.

Tyferra, ever played on Internode's Sharqi server? Roughly (when 'tis full) half the people on there are playing Support as assault should be used....

I WISH DICE WOULD BALANCE THE KITS PROPERLY... Assault should beat everything in CQC, instead its support now... was medic (G36E) before...

Assaults my favourite kit but for cryin out loud, some times I think its useless, support kills it at close range, medics are on even footing with it at all times and its easy to get killed as one in long range combat against anything... Maybe a little more armour for assault?

Not sure who made the suggestion about C4 but its a good one... As it is, just jump on to the tank as an engineer and drop an AT mine, works for me... ITs great fun too...

Somebody get this list to DICE, oh and shoot the person who thought attack choppers needed a reduced payload...

Red for the Spetznaz and...

-Reduce the Claymore activation distance... it's too good, there should be some kind of tactical use invovled with them rather than place it and kill a guy 30 meters away. (exaggeration)

This is a little. . . Disturbing.  Selected members usually translates to "Folks who have killer rigs specifically tuned to BF2 on ultra high-speed LANs."  It seems that with the hundreds of active posters here and on EA's site they could pick a couple of hundred at random, issue the patch, and aim them at a few EA servers over a weekend.

The trick there is to get the radom player to keep the kind of detailed notes & such it takes to properly test such things.

As long as EA/Dice "tune" their games for certain hardware, there will be bugginess.

Now that it takes a bit of skill and tactics to kill a tank or people, it's "yuk"?
I killed an infantry unit yesterday with C4. and it felt rewarding knowing I had to run up to him drop the C4, and run back and detonate. He then called me a noob

Hmm,have you ever read the description of the Spec-ops class in the BFHQ?
The part with stealth and sabotage?

The idea is to hide the c4 somewhere(maybe close to a flag?) and detonate it then,you know,the sneaky way...duh....

And you don't have to run up to anybody and drop your C4 there,that's what grenades are for,double-duh...
