well today i decided to try to get these ribbons.So I looked up like 20 profiles from other players that have it and that dont have them and compared them to mine.
If u look to the amount of hours played in PLA and MEC. These can have huge diference allthough i seen poeple that played more hours in MEC without having the Middle east ribbon then that some of other guys having it and that played only a few hours.
Then i look out the maps. something that i seen is everyone that have both of the ribbons. have played all the maps. Some that dont have the ribbons usually play only the same few maps and never tried the other ones. Then i looked out my maps. There was 2 of them i never played. Fushe Pass (PLA Map) and Kubra Dam (MEC Map)
So i decided to go do a round in each maps and see. so i played a complete round in Fushe map and a complete round Kubra Dam. First thing i know when i go look BFHQ. I received my 2 service ribbons!!!!
So i came with the conclusion that to get these ribons u need to play all maps from PLA to get the far east ribbon and u need to play all maps from MEC to get the middle east ribbon. The army that u choose have no importance i played USMC on both maps lol.
this might help some new BF2 players.
