Ok, I'm on Wake Island, flying, of course. I needed to type something, so I tilt the nose up, and start typing. Well, I kept going up and up and up, so I couldn't control my jet. So I just sat back and waited to crash. BUT. ON THE WAY. I happened to fly over the artillery island. While arty was being fired. While I was at 2000ft. I watched in amazement as I saw the arty fly up towards the sky, make an ark, and fall back down to the ground. I saw that, and, it was beautiful. Made my day, really. But it happened so fast I couldn't get a SS.

It was great. What do you think?

you couldn't take a ss anyway, as they no longer work courtesy of the recent patch. need to have fraps or something installed.

sounds pretty cool though - i really like finding random cool stuff like that, even after having spent so much time playing.

last time i went to high and out control, i died in the middle of nowhere and got a boring view of absolutely nothing

They do work still. After you hit 'print screen', open up Paint and just paste the image and then save. I've had to do that since the patch was issued.

I have Fraps, put couldn't get to the "Take SS button" in time.

That happened to me once, I was on Wake as Chinese, flying the chopper in circles over the arty island. The arty started firing as I flew over, and BOOM! Shot down by arty.

An enemy UAV saved my bacon while in a Cobra at Dragon Valley.

(Did he say the enemy UAV?WTF)

No gunner, no rockets and in the red facing a Havok with a gunner, lots of rockets and a chip on his shoulder because I had hunted him down 2-3 times previously.

I had hurt him maybe 50% but was giving myself the last rights when the enemy commander deployed an UAV. The Havok immediately crashed into it and blew up. Laughing al the way back to the repair pad and then some.

Oh in that case a screenshot when I had some serious graphics issues.

At a certain moment all the 'ground-texture' was gone... So it seemed that I was flooting in mid air. It allowed a view you noramally don't have: the foundations of some construction.

Some building actually have a foundation below ground. Like the metal fence on Zatar: it is embedded in 1m of concrete below ground. Stupid detail, because there is no way you'll ever see this. Yet some derange 3D developper has some architecture background I guess.

You obviously weren't watching when I took out that Hind on Surge with 2 RPG shots.

The first one was easy, cause he was stationary. That of course sent him climbing.

So now he's like 150m up, racing for his helo pad when I scope him to get his trajectory, and estimate the RPG's speed and drop.

He's out of my scope when I fire. But sure enough, when he enters my scope I'm pleased to see my RPG hit him right in the wing. Kablooey.

OK so that's the coolest thing I've done. Coolest thing I've seen? Driving a Humvee on the outskirts of Mashtuur, when 3 or 4 bodies from an ongoing artillery barrage litter the road in front of me. Oh sweet carnage.
