Is it just me or is EA/DICE just entralled with Heckler & Koch?

They have more guns in this game than any other arms manufacturer out there. Is this some kind of marketing ploy? I'm not dissing H&K by any means, but it seems like half of any new unlocks are H&k guns...

Yes, I noticed that too. They do have nice weapons for most roles and their range of weapons is more extensive than many other companies. We are still not seeing the H&K sniper rifles in this game though.

Well the G36 platform IS the weapon of the future, as your see it is changable with only a few extra parts.

Because they make good weapons and is one of the world's most renouned gun manufacturers, they find their weapons used in many US military applications...and yes, they are that bad ass.

Easy to explain. H&K are one of the most widely distributed weapons manufacturers in the world, and they have a great variety of weapons to suit every need. I mean, Colt makes decent rifles (and a few of them are in the game) and Avtomat Kalashnikov pretty much only makes AK based rifles (and a bunch of them are in the game too), and those are the first two that come to mind when I think of other widely used weapons.

Steyr, FN, and Sig still have relatively limited markets in military use, usually restricted only to several nations (usually their home nations and surrounding areas). H&K, on the other hand, is distributed worldwide and many militaries are already switching to H&K weaponary. (Britain should, once they retire the L85, and the US have already contracted several new weapons from them)

With all the HK firearms in the game, you'd think that maybe Euro Force would replace the tired old Beretta 92FS with, say, an HK USP? Nope, too much trouble? Oh well...

HK is the source of some of the most advanced weapons systems in the history and they are the suppliers for the elite army/law enforcement teams.They make and made the best guns on the market. So why not putting them in one of the best game?

The only other Company that could be as used as HK is Kalashnikov. But Kalashnikov are used mostly by the communisim countries, by the "terrorists" and by the "poor" armies like in africa and asia . HK are used by the wealthy countries (americas and europe) mostly
