Hey, guys and gals!

I am well on my way to 1,000 heals and 1,000 resupplies. However, I am serious lagging in the repairs area.

I play engineer a lot, but usually only when I'm being a naughty little armor whore. Could people please offer some tips on how they obtain repair points legally?

When you likely armor-whore, get a friend in some 2nd armor or apc and being engi on his own. Then stick together and you have not even to get out, if your tank is damaged. And on karkand repairs en masse are rolling in. Drive with your tank next to destroyed commi-assets and you will also repair it w/o getting out your tank.

If i am in a gmae as another kit other than eng and I see the command assest have been blow I will respawn back as an eng and go repair them...I find most of my points for repair come from a handfull of maps warlord being the best for the repairs....i got like 400 and change left to get a 1000.

I am one of the "few" who has the Meritorious Service Medal.

my advise is; stick to armor whores, always spawn as engineer when your assets start to blow up. Because the same guys almost always comes back to blow more shit up.
BH whoring is almost dead here post v1.2 so that option is almost not excisting, unfortunatly - because that was a real repair-point machine

last time I checked, it was almost as hard as the WCR to get, so Good luck whit it back when I got my Meritorious Service Medal, 303 people already had it and 177 people had the WCR.
Well I'm probably going to get flamed for saying that its almost as hard to get, but it just goes to show that teamwork (which the Meritorious Service Medal is awarded for) is dead. the WCR and Meritorious Service Medal is the two rarest awards. makes you think - the two awards for extraordinary team effort - trust me 1K heal, 1K resupply and especially 1K repairs have really helped a lot of teammates during that period.

I can only say one thing repair everything of your team that is smoking, every repair healthbar counts, you're lucky when spec ops blow up the commander assets and leave the area to come back later to blow up the assets again. follow your armoured teammates in a jeep or whatever so you are mobile enough to go from one to another. My experience is that repairing goes faster when you are in a vehicle. Repairing the assets go faster this way.

I'll second that. It's counterintuitive. but repairs from a vehicle are about 1/3 faster than cranking the wrench. And you don't seem to run out of wrench juice when you're repairing from a vehicle.

whore karkand in tanks/apc, you and freind both engineer + get in 2 seperate vehiles + stay next to eachother+ drive up front to the 1st usmc firebase and shoot away, you will get pounded by AT constantly but your freind will repair you, and you repairing him, you get hit so much its almost like constantly reparing the whole round. works even better with 3 vehiles, but chances are you and ur friends wont get all the armor. BTW do this on MEC and watch out for c4 or mines.

Eng in any vehicle is a good start. Just follow your fellow vehicles around repairing them. If your commander's toys get blown up. Move to repair them. I easily get 10 pts a round for repairs that way. I prefer APCs for doing that kinda work. They are fairly fast, fairly manueverable for their speed and you can shoot wihtout having to change seats.

Blackhawk in Mashtuur City. Just sit in a non gunner/pilot seat and crank the wrench. Boring as you only get repair and kill assist points but they add up. That's how I got meritorious service ribbon and my vet repair badge in the same round.

I doubt I will ever get this medal, 1000 repairs is just far too harsh. I have 2.3k resupply, 1.3k heal and 148 repair points, gives you an idea of how retarded repair points are. Pity its a nice looking medal too

Whenever you see your teams commander assets appearing yellow on the minimap, go repair the, you should be able to get a few repair points that way...often more if the enemy has a few decent specops Also, you could hop in a jeep and race round the map looking for your teams armour, I recommend FAVs for this one. Be prepared to jump out in a hurry if you do this though!

I was also lagging in repairpoints before I got mine. I´d played alot of mashtur as USMC, the MEC tends to destroy the satscan and arty. I spawned at the blackhawkbase and runed down to the artys and repaired like a maniac. Got like 7-10 repairpoints every round. When you are finished with one arty run fast to the next before the wrench juice is up, that way you can get more then one point per arty...
Worked for me!!!

Before 1.03 you could get easy repairs in the BH, thats how I got 964 (I think) repairs

a good place to get repair points is on the iron gator map, just lie by the AA turret, it always gets taken out. i nearly qualified for my expert repair there miss out by one point.

i have the same problem with repair points!!! i mean there is a balance problem here.....i think repairing a fully destroyed commander asset should be 2 points and a nearly destroyed tank should be 2 points...

i heard actually that the way u recieve repair points is.....1 repair point for every 15 seconds of repairing?
