BF2S Forums Updating Game Stats

bf2s says you(sedzmyster.cc) played last battle yesterday, so that is being updated..

Would help if you gave some indication of how many points your missing, what badges etc.

Other than that I don't know...

I think I've played 4-5 times in the last 3 days.  Excluding lastnight, I'm missing around 60pts. Lastnight, I got around 130ish pts. Missing Basic Armor, Basic Support, and most important, my Silver Commander!  I stoaked, cause I know i'm about 1 game from getting Sergant, and another unlock.

I'm at a loss here.  I see differences too in different stat viewers as well.  One site says I haven't played in 4 days, BF2S is correct with my last battle (lastnight) but no stats to show for it.

I havne't done anything different in the last 3 days that I've done since the game came out.

I read on EA's site (think it was that one)  Where some of the stat servers were crashing upon the round ending.  I'm now wondering if my stats/awards were lost with the rest of the data in RAM of those servers. Meaning.......... GONE!  I gotta do it again! Thanks EA! !!

lol as far as my SPM...... back when it was high..... i had about 2-3 REALLY good days of commanding, where EVERYBODY followed orders, fought well, and won the games!  Also, the enemy liked to stay all clumped up and fight, allowing me to get 4-6 kills per Artty Strike.  Games like those don't happen very often, so my SPM has come back down to my norm.

No kidding!  I remember back when BF2 was just out, you could play a game then goto BFHQ and instantly see your new stats and awards.  Those days are long gone.

However...... despite the serious issues with their patches, BF2 is still the best game I've ever played!  Hats off to EA/Dice for that!

I'm still curious to know though... why are my friends stats being updated nightly, and mine aren't.  Frustrating to say the least.

hahaha True enough Cheddermuff!  I agree! Points aren't everything.  I like to play the game cause I like the game.  But when you practice on practice servers, then head to a real game, where you fight like a wolverine on speed, trying to get that next rank, and more importantly the UPGRADE the points start to mean more. 

EA should know and realize that you can't put a GLOBAL scoring system in-place and not expect people to try to be king-of-the-hill, or get local rivalry going with local people/friends.  This for me anyway.... brings the game to a higher level.  And the ability to look at your accomplishments throughout the game, and be proud of them (because you earned them honestly) puts more importance of the stat keeping.

I'm sure EA will step up eventually and get everything up to speed, but for now some of us are bitter about the inconcistently of the stats-tracking. 

so with that said....... there's my grype about it. I've said my peace.
