long ago, i was playing bf2, and i shot at a plane that was moving at great speeds, with my tanks cannon. And i killed it! It was an IMPOSSIBLE shot! But i did it! I shot down a plane with a tank!
Haha, nice, i've done that before. I do it all the time on DC too, but thats 10 times easier on that game.
I shoot down planes with the tank somewhat frequently actually, and chickenmuncher is right, it was much easier to do in DC. Still it sounds like you had a pretty sweet shot that probably made your day.

I have shot down a plane wiht a tank, though I didn't mean to because I was firing at a chopper but a plane killed it before I did. The thing was, I shot one more time before it died and I accidently hit the plane.

Yope, it was easy to shoot airplanes with a tank in DC. Why? Because the tank shells travelled much faster in DC than in BF2. In BF2 the tank shells are extremely slow.
Once i managed to shoot down an airplane with an eryx. This bastard wated to bomb our jeep in low altitude, i had to intervent.
Another time i sent an eryx towards a blackhawk. Sadly a friendly jet decided to kiss my eryx 5 meters before it hit the target. Of course the flying idiot had to punish. At least i kept him from crashing into the blackhawk. Stupid flying idiots.

As for the planes, I've shot two down to date as a tank. One was flying low and his copilot missed the laser-guided missile and I fired and got two kills Another one I started firing my side machine gun at him and he got ascared and flew into a tree Good times.

nice, i shot down loadsa planes on this game with tanks tho prbz bout 30, they were all on the runway takin off hahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha although they neva got to take off hahahahahaha.
fuck man i do this shit all the time, ive gotten a few planes but i get heli's all the time, shot at a blackhawk once as it was just as it was leaving my rendering distance but some how i hit it after i couldnt see it any more
I got taken out by an Eryx on a strafing run. I've been shot down by arty a few times too.
