i have noticed that sometimes after you die and one of your claymores kills someone, it registers as (KILLED) not (CLAYMORE). so even though you killed 30+ people some of those might not have counted as explosive kills because they were killed after you died. just a possibility.
I've seen the (Killed) tag alot since 1.2(it did happen when using claymores in 1.12, but it was a little more rare) while using Claymores. I've discussed it on a few other threads, but I think I finally have a logical reason what happens:
If you die and the enemy hits your mines while you are still waiting to respawn, I think it will give you the Claymore kill IF that Claymore was placed during your previous 'life'. I've heard spec-ops, if revived, can still detonate C4 they have dropped OR another player can pick up their kit and detonate it. I believe the same thing happens with a sniper's Claymores. I think that time is allowed so that you can be revived and still be in battle. It actually makes perfect sense now that I think of it that way. I think if anyone picks up your kit, THEY will get the kills for the Claymores(or any other kill with leftover ordinance).
Actually, now that I think of it, I'm pretty dang SURE it happens like that. I've had one death that I had recently that I couldn't quite explain. I was out of mines at one point in the first alley of Karkand and I spotted an enemy sniper kit that I picked up to place down two more mines. Well, when I placed it down, I noticed I got no red skull warning. A friendly ran over in front of the Claymore(that I happened to be standing in front of by now) and somehow tripped the untrippable Claymore(no, I wasn't playing on a server with FF turned back on for them, and no, another enemy didn't trip it because I didn't get an enemy kill) leading to my 'suicide' and a teamkill.
Hmmm... I need to test this out tonight. I'll eat a teamkill or two to figure this out
