yesterday i was going for the crew service so i went to mastur and flew the helo expecting to get 13 Driver Kill Assists and a dirver ability point. well becasue of the patch that didnt work out i got 5 kills but they were on the ground and i only got 5 driver kill assists and i was getting alot of Driver Special Ability Points and right when i got 13 team work points (5 kill assists and 8 Driver Special Ability Points) i got the ribbion so i think u need a combind of 13 team work points made up of Driver Special Ability Points and driver kill assists and the 5 kills can be on foot in arrmor or what ever

Crew Service Ribbon

IAR: 1 Driver Special Ability Point
IAR: 13 Driver Kill Assists
IAR: 5 kills

My Guess On What You Need For The:

Crew Service Ribbon

IAR: Any Combo Of 13 Driver Special Ability & Driver Kill Assists
IAR: 5 kills On Foot Or Not

I wasn't paying attention when I got this badge but I know I had more than 13 Driver kill assists so I would have to say there is an "AT LEAST" stipulation in there for the 1 driver special abilty point. 13 kill assists won't do it for you.

yea i know thats y i said any combination of thouse like 6 driver kill assists and 7 Driver Special Ability Points or 9 driver kill assists and 4 Driver Special Ability Points but im pretty shure u need at least one of each but thanx 4 the info

Load a medic, support or engineer in your vehicle and he has to heal, resupply or repair someone inside or outside of your vehicle. If he gets a teamwork point for his "special abbility" i.e. heal/resupply/repair you get a teamwork point called "Driver Special Abbility Assist"

Had a round before that I decided to tank whore when my stats didnt load properly.

Basic Engineer Combat, Basic Engineer, Crew Service Ribbon, Basic Armour Combat

Had a tank gunner that was smart and didn't get himself owned for once.

lucky bugger - if by chance i get into a tank (i normally go APC if at all) i always get some stupid-ass gunner who doesn't do crap for me.

Just a question though - this ribbon, you have to be the driver yes? and the 13 kill assists or whatever come from your passenger(s) killing people WHILE ur driving?

U dont have to be the driver ! U must in fact be the passanger to get DRIVER kill assists.

To get the driver special ability u can do lots of things, either drive around with lots of peeps (1 is enough) - or have your passanger do something like mentioned above (heal,repair or supply while a passanger in your vehicle)

Getting the kill assists is the hardest part. And remember that the driver points almost never show ingame !

This is incorrect. Any vehicle you're a part of that gets a kill in any way will get you a kill assist. Helicopter is a perfect example.

If anyone is having trouble with this ribbon I suggest flying the attack helicopters and picking up either a medic, engineer, or support player. If you line your helicopter up right your gunner should have no problem getting several kills, giving you the kill assists you need. Additionally, it's fairly easy to get the driver special ability points simply by hovering near a damaged tanks, injured soldiers, or low-ammo soldiers since your gunner's abilities work on allies outside the vehicle. You can also get points yourself this way if you are an engineer, support, or medic kit.
