Hi there,

this evening - just half hour ago - i played on CHCLAN PUB1 CityMaps - Karkand was the map.
I were USA and this guy, he was just in LAV. Always LAV ... so long.
One map before he teamkilled me an my squadmembers a lot of times - i observed this a little time and mentioned that he doesnt loose points for teamkills - strange. The teamkills he made were no mistake, they were aimed ... ok, that all was one map before Karkand.
I stood on USA base, gas station. Some vehicles appeared - also a LAV. But this LAV wasn't empty it was allready filled by this strange guy ... So wtf !?
He's teamkilling and doesnt get points lost, he survives with an LAV ...
Is this explainable with normal things ?! Don't think so - or could someone explain me the opposite ?!

Sounds like a basecamper had the red tag bug.

Could it be that he had a positive team point score before he teamkilled you and you were expecting a negative team score?  When the LAV spawned he probably died prior to you spawning and he was just waiting in the area and holding E to get in it on the moment it spawned.

two possibly normal explanations, coming right up!

the flip side to the red bug is the blue bug, where an enemy appears as a friend - I actually joined an enemy player's squad on Karkand last night. He appears as blue, he's on the map as blue, his squad appears on the list, but he's on the other team. I joined his squad becuase i thought it would be laugh if we could talk over voip if we're on opposite teams, but he didn't respond, so I dunno if that works. the only benefit was that I could see were he was on the map - a great benefit since he was a tank whore, and i could avoid him.

the round after i joined his squad, i could actually see him spawn at the tank on the other side of the map, at the beginning of the round, which was funny. Things returned to normal after that round.

OH! to get to the point - everytime he killed one of us he got a 'teamkill', though he didn't lose any points. this is because the map/tag thing was bugged, but everything else is normal, so he was "really" just getting normal kills not teamkills, and therefore not losing any points. it was just the display/kill report thing was bugged.

ALso, isn't there a spot with each vehicle's spawn, where if you prone there you appear inside the vehicle when it appears? I swear I have seen many people do this with choppers. SO maybe he had the red/blue bug, and was proning near the vehicle and you didn't see him?

blue/red bug ... don't know. In the left top of the screen there was always the message
playerX [Teamkill] playerY
when he killed me/teammates - or is this alo a "feature" of the blue/red bug ?
Thats true, this guy had a positive score before he started teamkills, but even while he teamkilled the points dont get down - as mentioned i observed it.
The LAV thing mhmm ... don't think he proned at the place where the LAV appears, cause the LAV doesnt reach the ground when he was falling from heaven, he was already in there when the LAV appears arround 2 meters above the ground.
Ok maybe its just a very very good timing by this guy - but how could he choose his spawn point so exactly - if i choose a spawnpoint i appear on serveral points everytime i spawn.
Ok, thing i should check this under the point "happens ones a life time".

the bug is still in the patch i had it yesterday with the red tag in my team !!
