Any APCs? I always thought Wake was missing APCs.[TUF]Catbox wrote:

Do you think that bf2 should have snow maps or maps with Rain.
Snow maps | 73% | 73% - 70 | ||||
Rain maps | 26% | 26% - 25 | ||||

Its Really Funny you should mention this because I was only thinking the other day how cool it would be to have a map set in the snow, with Snow camo, or Urban camo or somthing like that.
Rain would be cool aswell
Dunno how all the particles would go for peoples hardware but :\
Sure would own but

Winter maps. Would only make sense for China battles, i guess.
Alter the avatars for winter camo. Imagine what a winter-time sniper would look like?
"Bob that pile of snow just shot me!"

Yeah, if they made snow maps they could make it really cool but you would also need a good computers. Imagine if you could see footsteps that eventually got covered by more snow, and if you leave a helicopter sitting there for a while when you turn it on a flurry of snow would fly off the propellors, etc. That would be really fun, but only for people with good comps.
NOT SNOW!!!!!! The "I can't see the ground" glitch on SF night maps would repeat itself with pure white on day maps !!!!! (Just imagine..."the enemy base is just over this hill".....you are nomore)
Heh, true, they would have to do some sort of shading.the_ubernoob_ wrote:

1 inch thick case, i would like to see some pics of that. I saw one made into a coffee pot once.
I voted rain, just because it is raining now, but overall for both, fuckyea
rain, off the top of my head i cant think of any fps rain maps where the rain has an impact, keep in mind the only games ive played were sort of old. but snow maps have been made plenty of times. i'd like a tropical rain map in the jungle and a city map like new york with drizzly rain.
I dont really care, my computer would die at the mention of rain or snow in maps
both
I'd say both, but everyone is right, it would wreak havoc on computers.
EA and DICE have put rain in game before I'm sure. I think they put rain in Monte Cassino for BF1942 Road to Rome. Wasn't there also rain in BF Vietnam somewhere. It's been a while since I've played them so I forget, but it would be super-cool.
And I've seen that snowey Wake Island map before. I spent the entire thread trying to prove to the poster that it wouldn't really snow on an island such as Wake. I'll proove it again too if anyone wants to argue, I have some good points now, other than saying "You are so stupid! I can't believe how stupid you are!"

I don't remember rain in any of the BF:V maps. It has been to long since I played any of the Road to rome maps to remember honestly.
I voted snow, but I would like to see:
A map entirely in an oil refinery complex. Includes the the fractillation towers (mmm... sniping) as well as tanks and inside some buildings. It would include a ship docked offloading crude oil, carpark for the employees, crates (dock area?).
The weather of the map would be late afternoon, as the sun is about to go down. The sky is an orangy-red. Long shadows are cast off the fractillation towers, creating hiding spots.
Only vehicles are buggies/hummers. No tanks or Apc's - its too tight an area for them to go through.

Lol, I want to go there... How much would it cost per night though...usmarine2005 wrote:

i think that every map should have weather stuff, so 1 minute is hot then a few mins later its raining then snow that would be awesome but of course weather should match lvl's lol snow on karkand...
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.
how about a map with a submarione on each side...that can attack both land and sea
I think it would be fun to add hail. If you are outside in the open, you are always taking small amounts of persistent damage.
"The damn hail stole my kill!"
"The damn hail stole my kill!"
lol it might be fun if the snipers has new set of cammies like snow white cammy or something like that. cause it wont be fun if the map is snow area while the cammies is desert/jungle pattern lol.
but i vote both...in the end ill just lowered my res anyway...since my pc would lag like hell if that happens.

Interesting, Tanks but no tanks.mcminty wrote:

Anyway, my question is would we be able to throw snowballs? Use them to distract an enemy or something?
ROFL that is something else. Mine is just made of steel, not out of anything special. Has a red paint job and vent holes all on all sides at the bottoms and tops.-=S8M=-Phoenix wrote:

yeah should have had a third option: both
He sat patiently on the hill in between the trees, looking through the rain, with a brutal and swift shot, the bullet enterd the enemy, as he fell into the pool of water. Rain makes it more hard too see, a snipers paradise.
And it would crash all of the low-end computers. No way. Besides, REALISTCALLY, if its raining with wind, sniping would be a bitch (aim 4 clicks to the left of an enemy if the wind is going this way, etc.)Citizen One wrote:

To me, that snow on Wake Island looked great-- except for the fact that it's a tropical island, lol
id rather have snow maps and like snowboards lol
