Why not have a BF2 version kind of like CSS Hostage, where

One team gets VIPs (bots) to protect, a spawn point (in a different building semi-near building with VIPs), a few burnt out buildings for a defensive position, and the ability to move VIPs (except for in the spawn point building).  This team can win by moving the VIPs to a specific location (a helopad that changes each round and they only know which one) and calling in a (bot controlled) helicopter to get bots out, or by causing a certain number of casualties on the other team to end match.

The other team gets a couple troop trucks with .50 cals mounted to ferry troops from a spawn on the outside edge of town to the objective in center of town (or where ever needed).  The city should have tons of builds that you can go in and have windows that break (so you know if someone has shot it or is shooting from it). This team wins only by hunting down and killing the VIP bots, or inflicting a certain amout of casualties on other team.

No Artillery, Supply Drops, Choppers, Planes, Armor.....

Only 1 spawn point per team that is not capturable and in a building where you can't be sniped and people can only leave the building, but not get back in......  ie spawn point is on top of highest building on map with no way in, but you can leave any direction by a base jump on to or into lower buildings/rural areas.  Basically a real tall block with no doors or windows, just a spawn point on top.

So what do you think???

I've got an even better idea. Lets take the half life 2 engine, and modify it so its like a hostage rescue scenario. We'll have 2 teams, one that has to protect some bots, and the other team has to kill those same bots. And lets call it... oh, i dunno... counter strike source, and the company that made half life will produce it. Yes, my idea is much better.
