Incremental or Full Patch?

Well I have been having a lot of server connection lost issues, and I am getting really upset. So I decided to reinstall for the 3rd time. Yes, I was able to play the game without problems pre-patch. I have had the game since ver 1.0.2442.0 and have been able to play flawlessly, until now that is.

What I am trying to find out is if maybe the Full patch is corrupt because I formatted the other day and had to reinstall the game, and I started having this problem. Before the format I believe I did the incremental install and I was able to play fine. I am just wondering if anyone else has had better success with incremental patching over the full patch.

No idea if it's coincidence or not but i got the incremental patch and don't seem to get as much hassle as u seemed to get.

I have a feeling it has to do with the full patch heh.. cause most of the cases I have read consisted of people installing the full patch...

Well I tried the incremental patch and no go...

It might be a problem with Punkbuster now that I look at it a bit more but I dont know how the hell this is caused:

Remember Incremental is for people that have already patched to 1.03 and 1.12 the incremental will bring those people to 1.2
Full is for a fresh install with no patches to bring you straight to 1.2

From the four lines you gave us of PB, it is normal. Why do you say that may be the problem?

with pb make sure you download pb setup.put it into the bf2\pb htm folder then update.just downloaded new client version.

Ok yea I forgot to mention. I have fully updated my PB on each reinstall...

@M730A2 : This stuff I know about the incremental patch, if you havent read I am from way back so I know how to install patches and which to install. It doesnt matter which way I install them... Also that last line on PB is the last message I received before I was kicked. I am gathering up all this information because there is no solution as to why many players are unable to connect without getting kicked from servers. Sadly I believe its the patch...

i found i had problems with the incremental but not full one.
