I hear people speak of M95s and other weapons doing more damage to helos. I believe that copters should take damage and that should show in performance or lack of once damage is taken to a certain extent. In ways I am happy with the extent of damage done to aircraft via small arms fire. But like I said before, the helo should have problems with control after a certain damage mark has been met. It might have start to spin out of control or become slow to response, this would be a great addition. My clan has studied tanks and aircraft looking for weak spots and you can take a tank out with 2 shots with Anti-tank , tanks have a weak spot and our clan has studied that so during scrims or just regular server play, we got the game on that. It drives me nuts though that a helo can take a hit to the rotor from a type of RPG and still fly...but then again I understand it...Perhaps I go too deep in the game =]
