BF2S Forums TK-ing Line Jumpers for Planes?

EA should only let ppl above the rank of staff sergeant to fly...

first come, first serve and if you dont get it, go help somewhere else. it's not like the guys on each side are not needed. waiting for a plane is nothing more than causing damage to your own team, because the other team outnumbers yours....

I thought I covered that later in the thread.  You must have missed it.  I agree with you totally.  More than 1-2 people in the hangar is a total waste if there aren't planes about to spawn soon.  1 person in the hangar is a waste if you've already got a bad-ass pilot in the air.  He won't be down for awhile.


I think the situation I'm refering to mostly is when you are standing, by yourself, in the middle of the hangar, waiting a minute for an idiot who has the plane to crash.

Lo and behold, after a minute or so, said idiot (being an idiot) crashes, gets shot down, or sends his plane up into the stratosphere.  Upon re-spawning, said idiot comes running back to the hangar and, seeing you there, starts jumping in your face, or pulls a knife, or stands with you on the sweet spot, holding down the "E" key.  Oftentimes, they'll even pull out the pistol and inflict minor damage.

Sometimes you get the plane.  Sometimes the collision code is wonky and the plane knocks you out of the way and the idiot gets the plane.  He promptly flattens the plane against some ancient chinese temple, and comes running back to the hangar.  A quick check of the score will tell you, this guy has 5 plane deaths (and counting) and 0 kills.

Now quite frankly, I don't really care if you're an idiot or not.  If you get to the spawn first, the plane is yours, as far as I'm concerned.  I will defend your right to that plane to the best of my ability.

BUT-- If I'm there first, I expect you not to try to take the plane from me.   I'll defend that too.  As many have said, first come first serve.  Not second come first serve.  You can have that plane when I (being an idiot) crash, get shot down, or send the plane into the stratosphere.



So anyway, TK'ing aside, What do you do if you know a plane is about to spawn, and somebody is already standing in the middle of the hangar before you get there?  Do you stand right next to him and hold down "E"?  Do you try to intimidate him into leaving? Do you pull out a knife and kill him?

I know that I'll let him have the plane (even if he's an idiot), but that's just me.
