Weapon Unlocks ---please help---

I can't help noticing that a lot of people have more weapons unlocked than I have.
At 13000 points I only have 5 out of 14 unlocks and I saw someone who had 10 unlocks with only 9500 points.
My question is how this is posseble, is it because of some patch I missed or is something else going on?
I'm currently at patch v1.2, please help

SF Time = 00:00:00

You have to play SF to get the 2nd tier unlocks.

I have tried to play SF, but when I join a server it closes down
But I'll try again and see if it works (is there a speciel download for special forces???)

Well I tried to play SF again but when it had completed loading the map, I tried to join.
And it all closed again and the punkbuster message said something like: this server only allows people with the current official version :S
Is there a download for SF because at the community is sais: BF2 version 1.2 aand BF SF version 1.1

you need to re-run the newest patch over your sf

if u buy bf2 special forces, it will give u a bunch of unlocks-it did for me. i am at 11,000 and i have all but 2 unlocks

there's your problem, SF should be version 1.12. i reccommend you get the full 1.2 patch, completely uninstall BF2, re-install BF2 & SF then patch (BTW i found it helps to defrag between the installations)

no you dont need to rank up... this will happen immediately after you play one map in SF. I prchased this exapnsion just a little while ago but there are no clear instructions as to how to get BOTH SF and Bf2 on the same patch level when you install SF later on. When i installed SF i already had 1.2 BF2... well the first thing SF tries to do when you install it is install 1.1 patch! So after you install SF you have go get the FULL 1.2 patch and then patch from there. The incremental wont work, I had to do the FULL 1.2 patch in order to get them on the same page.

But then as soon as i played a round i had 4 more unlocks...

SF needs version 1.2, but the version number will remain 1.12. Its a glitch.
