BF2S Forums How do you turn off Norton System works??

I had the same issue after I installed 1.2 patch.  I had to remove the game from the "Permit" list and then re-add it and it worked fine after that.

i think norton is the biggest virus out there!  talk about a pain in the ass

norton system works is the worst, the damn worm protection wont let me alone. Even if i deactivate auto-protect, it makes pop-ups. "Do you want to allow that thing: blablabla EAGAMES blabla BF2.
I've been to the HELP section of norton and it says when i click Allow, it remember it and always do it for that program. NOT TRUE AT ALL.

To stop any poo starting up from your windows start up hers is what to do

click start

click run

type in msconfig click ok

Go start up

and click disable all ( dont worry it will recheck it self the ones that it needs click apply it will ask you to restart pc when it loads up windown it will give u pop up box telling u u just made changes tick the box inside that click ok and there u go no more shit starting up when windows start up )

thanks guys, i knew about msconfig but i still want the antivirus (or i wouldnt have it installed) but i just want that worm protection shit when i play bf2.
