The only way you'd get bored is if you solely played one map all the time and were only good at one thing. Then I could see it get a little boring. But since each game is different due to different players and different sides...It remains quite interesting. Especially for those of us who don't just APC whore map after map

I only find when I overplay it does it start to border boredom. There is times you need a good break and it is awesome when you go again. Just so so hard to put down.

There are so many aspects to this game that i really find it hard to believe that a person could get bored of it. If someone played it a ridiculous amount of hours and managed to achieve every ribbon, badge,medal, adn rank out there then...and only then i might see how someone could get bored with it.
I consider myself an average player. My stats have been climbing in the last month though. This coincides with 'something' clicking in me that has my 'key stats' on the rise. I've never felt that i was 'worthy' of a clan. However, recently i've given the thought some consideration. Clan play after being a 'lone wolf' i imagine would only add to the overall experience to be had.

If you play for a long time it starts getting boring, After about four hours, (yes I do have four hour stints every now and then,) I find I start making mistakes, and getting really frustrated with everything that goes wrong. I just stop having a good time, like today I found myself frustrated as Hell at this camping APC, so typed "FUCK OFF!!!" which got me kicked. I think it was a good thing because I stopped playing after that.
Completely bored with BF2? Since I don't have a home computer to play it on and I don't have access to it whenever I want, I doubt it.

No. This game has enough to do in it where you many never get board.
After close to 600hrs....yeh i'm getting bored.
Surely those players with more than 2000hrs must be getting bored of it - its nearly 3 months straight

I have played some loooong stints (16 hours in a day). I have played for 2-3 hours a day for days on end. I am up to 150 hrs total now and I'm still not bored. I must admit though that it's the first time I've been up against anything but AI in a first person shooter. It's been a huge learning experience. It's been frustrating and it's been hillarious at times watching people do crazy things. I'm about to get my dad into it which I'm sure will be really funny.

it gets kind of boring when u play karkand all the time
when i play with friends, it never gets boring. but sometimes by myself it can be.

half of it is spent with friends, gf, work, etc
the other half is spent on BF2
but on weekends...while all my friends are home, and my gf is working, I play a LOT of BF2
Thought i was getting slightly bored at one point, but that was when my computer was shit and i was playing karkand all the time with 32 players.
But when you have such a wide choice of maps, number of players, choice of squads, kits, weapons, all the different personalities that you meet in the game, then i dont think you can ever get bored.
Always gives you a pick up when you join a squad with 4 or 5 like minded country men who all work together and have a good laugh!

Iv'e never got bored of this game. I find myself going to bed later and later due to it. Iv'e played over 2k rounds and never ever have 2 been the same, they never will be. I want to be more successful with the next round than the last, and I know I learn a new tip or trick each round I play. I learn more by my mistakes playing that what I will ever read in a forum or on a website, that dosen't mean Im not grateful for any help I recieve. I constantly make new friends or enemies and thus your gaming experience alters due to this aswell. BF2 is without a dount the best game Ive ever played.
im bored of it, only caus my good/good enough for bf2 pc is being a asshole! gets boring having graphical lag all the time probaly just some virus or to much porn on my pc

well my internet continuely(sp) keeps dropping out every few mins so i havent played since thursday so when i get the net back ill bein fryin some noobs again (i hope) exactly 350 hours played and nowhere near bored, i set myslef goals, mine is to get the 4000 points i need the next weekend i get to play then 10000 points for 2nd lt etc etc
