OK, im in Wake, and ive snuck behind the chinese airfield and planted about 2-3 packs of C4 on a plane. I jump back over the hill and wait for an enemy to take the plane. About the time they reach the end of the runway, i press my detonator button. Nothing. I press it again. Nothing again. I clicked it numerous times, and nothing happened. I mean, i could still SEE the C4 stuck to the planes back tail as it flew away, and this was right near the end of the runway at this time, like just taking off.

Is there some new range now in the 1.2 patch? or was it a crazy glitch? Would appreciate comments on this.

one time i found that if the c4 was on the back of the plane, it would be moving so fast that the explosion would be behind it. maybe thats what happened... or could be something else.

I've never had it happen to me, but a friend has quite a few time. The only way he can get it to stop is leaving the server and joining it again.

Several times this happened to me but in my case I snuck up on a tank planted three c4 because I clicked really fast. When I tried to detonate nothing happened!

Another time same thing, three c4. When I clicked to detonate, I hear the explosion but no "you killed" message. I looked back toward the tank, it was still standing but was smoking though. I'm guessing what happened was only the first c4 blew yet the other two were dummy or fake c4.

So now what I do when planting c4 is plant the first one, pause a bit and then plant the second one, head for cover or blow it right then and there. Majority of the time I am unsuccessful. Which totally sucks but oh well.

Your case I have no idea what happened I'm thinking it could be a glitch too. This glitch blows hopefully they fix it.

Yeah i have troubles with the C4.

It wouldnt stick to the tank. Happens alot.

But when it did stick, it wouldnt detonate strait away, but later would explode and id get the kills.
