My clan runs a ranked server and we keep friendly fire off. I love it, especially when we play 24/7 Wake. Jets and AA can fire at will with (almost) no negative scores. What's your opinion?

But yeah it's a nice option to have but I don't think you should able to enable it on ranked servers. There's arguments for and against I guess and if you've bought the game you should be able to play as you like. Each to his own.

i think friendly fire off is a good thing - it promotes engineer play - which is good - no more teamkilling with mines- for snipers too with claymores - so less banter in game.
im much more relaxed in game with friendly fire off.

What kind of stupid choices are those? I either LOVE it or I think it's cheating? I think it's stupid and caters to unskilled noobs who don't know how to play without tk'ing. After playing for quite a while, I almost never tk any more. And if I do, I probably deserve the -4. So, I think it's stupid but I certainly don't think it's cheating. I DO think it 'makes a difference' and obviously I 'know what you are talking about' so there is no good option for me to vote. Add a "I hate it!" box and you might have some meaningful information at the end of this poll.

While it does annoy me when people auto punish without even taking a chance to look at the situation, as when thier dumb fuck ass was hiding infront of my claymore when the enemy ran at them, or jumped on my grenade etc.

Minus that I like friendly fire adds realism to the game, when I hear "Artillay in your area" I know to get the fuck out. I think one of the coolest aspects of thegame is to get the shock blurry vision ear thing, just by standing by a tank that fires its cannon.

Yeah, people will chunk C4 at their feet and fly sky high if FF is off. Then they snipe, gun, and stats pad on the roofs of tall buildings. The trip up there is fun, I've tried it. But after you've explored all the roof tops on karkand it's boring unless you want to snipe/defend a flag, like the Hotel all day. I don't know. It's fun if people don't abuse it.

It's totally leagal.

4 top reasons to have FF off;

4) Red tag glitch.
3) AA Team damage or TK.
2) Vehicle whore TK (Thanks cmsgt_one_shot)
1) Engineer TK (red skulls are not a power up!)

Most people don't even realise that it is off, and we don't abuse it. We admin our server very well, but we don't have a bunch of rules. 1) don't disrespect other players and 2) don't Base rape.

As for the question about when will the fascination with polls stop, resist clicking on polls if you don't like them. You are the kind of guy who is not welcome on our server, taking more time to whine than playing the game. Whiners are kicked immediatly.

I say we should play as realistically as possible but there is also thoes piss ants that cry and tk for vehical and get angry becasue of accedents and then the guy who got killed spends the time trying to get revenge and then the guy who orginally who tked get angry. Its a never ending cycle of tk'ing.

i love it, i can bomb my own bases swarmed with enemys taking flag without having to worry about -20 score or nooblets punishing me, instead i get 10 kills and 10 flag defends= t3h l33t. ppl catapult themselves with c4 should go uninstall though, thats rly gay.
