Umm... most of your hours in the game are from inside a chopper or armor. That's almost like me saying that I've been killed more times by shotguns than landmines. All because only about 17% of my total game time has been in armor or transport vs. "ground-pounding".YoBabysDaddy wrote:
I've been killed by sniper rifles and claymores less than anything else in the game.Hell,i've been knifed more.I can always usually see the snipers thanks to the commander or the distinct sound of a sniper rifle.
If a sniper could not be seen on the UAV or Scan I would use the kit more.As it is now the sniper kit is my least favorite.

yeah i like certain sniping spots that are pretty hard to discover if and *only* if there are few or no teammates nearby. when teammates show up and start throwing nades and what not, that spot becomes an arty magnet! my k/d ratio pretty much on how often arty kills me, not other peeps. i dont play wake too much, but when i do i love sniping from the middle island at the start of the round. trouble is, that island is another arty and J-10 magnet..dont_be_ss wrote:
i dont see how you can get such a good k/d ratio on karkand tahadar. am i the only wake island sniper. ive found that most of the really good snipers play sharqi and karkand. ive recently took up long range sniping, its going well so far, my k/d ratio is getting better now. i used to use the type 88 until the new L96A1 came out, it's an awsome gun at range, with not much bullet drop at even 400m.

often it is annoying, but sometimes i find that the enemy has advanced past my position and im pretty much surrounded. one wrong move can make an enemy notice my position. in such situations i actually hope a squad can make it through near my position before i am discovered and divert the enemys attention. also if i'm low on ammo or health i will call out for some help, and hope somebody shows up.TrueArchon wrote:

I don't know how many times that's happened, but every time annoys me to all high hell. The worst I ever say was on Mashtuur when I was sitting on the top of a building looking down into the mosque's plaza. I was on a killing spree with about 30-35 kills, 0 deaths when a guy crawled up with me, and began spraying down into the same area that I was firing into.... WITH A SAW!!!! I just couldn't believe how fast my spot went from "ultra-secret, where the f*** is he shooting from?!" to "arty/tank round/machine gun/sniper rifle heaven, VENGEANCE IS MINE!!." He caused my one death in that round, and boy was I pissed! I would almost believe that he'd done it on purpose, but I'd like to think that it was a brainfart moment instead.
