Okay I don't have a clue what is going on but me and 2 of friends are getting this horrible sound problems when we play BF2. We all get a popping noise in the background. The sound is like when your plugging in speakers or an amp and you get that scratchy noise. I know its not my computer because I play many other games on it and of course Bf2 is the only one with the problem. It just started happening about 5/6 days after patch 1.2. I'm pretty sure its the patch. Is anyone else having these problems and does anyone know how solve it.

Did you try to go to the EA site and ask them?

Thats the thing.. I tried asking them. Asked them about 2 times actually. I never got a response.

As far as I can remeber I never used to have any problems with the sound in the game, but since patch 1.2 I getting the same problem (scratchy/popping noise), so yeah I think its the patch, and no I dont have a solution, but if anyone does I'd be glad to hear it. It's not too bad if I keep the sound relativly low, but sometimes when I want the sound cranked up I cant
