My perfect map would be along the lines of a ww2 set up.
On really big beach, around 1000 yards across. On one end of the beach is a giant cliff with one path up, that path leads into a giant bunker, that over looks the entire beach. Said bunker is full of mounted machine guns. Grenade launchers, tear gas launchers. It also has some bigger guns, kinda like the ones on the tank, with a slower rate of fire. Also a couple mounted tows and AA. Behind the bunker would be a couple fighters the 2 bomb varaity to control the attacker air attack.
About 500 yards out in the ocean is an air craft carrier and a destroyer. As in bf1942 you can control the guns on the destroyer to shoot at the bunker. To go with the big guns on the destroyer every 10 minteus or so (kinda of like artillary now) the commander can also shoot 1 cruise missle from the carrier, and one from the destroyer. It would be like artillay now, not as big of an area, but splash damage and a large insta kill zone, that also takes out the mounted guns.
The carrier wouldnt have any of the dingy ass dingys thats for sure. It would have some LAVs some AAVs, and tanks on hovercrafts. It would also have some planes and choppers.
On the beach is alot of mangeled steel to hide behind, crashed planes etc, burning tanks and what not. Lots of artillary holes to hide in for a short period of time. The commander on the other side ofcourse still has his artillary.
There would need to be a few more kits though. every kit would have a grapple hook. anti tank would lose his close range weapon and get a anti air weapon. Snipers would lose thier claymores and get Binocs to call in the guns from the ship. Engineers lose thier land mines but get all manner of other explosives to clear the beach of things that will block all progress untill an engineer clears it out. Walls, barb wire fences etc. Spec ops can also clear the objects. Armor is never destroyed unless hit buy a bomb or artillary. So if it is taken out by a tow or machine gun fire(will be LOTS of that) an engineer can bring it back from the dead.
Tickets, the defenders have 200, the attackers 1000, the defenders spawn every 15 seconds, the attackers spawn every 5 seconds.
There are NO spawn points on the beach, only squad leader spawns. the beach is as wide as a 64x map and 1000 yards deep. There are blackhawks and other transport helicopters but it would take one hell of a pilot to get them in close.
The attackers have alot longer for a medic to get there, right now its like 15 seconds, they will have 45 seconds. Now it wouldnt be mandatory you can spawn in 5 seconds if you wish or wait for a medic. Also the attackers will have 40 people max and the defenders will have only 30% of the server pop. That way they will have to scramble about, being kind of short handed and having to cover many areas of advanement. That way it gives the attackers some chance.
I just think it would be a freakin blast, the defenders would kill wave after wave of people, and the attackers would have to find ways to distract them and sneak people in.
There will be 4-5 flags inside the bunker, once inside it would be like a Iron Gator map inside the air craft carrier, just no top, all inside split into 4 parts each with a flag in the middle.
