Far East and Middle East Service Ribbons

Now I know you must be on the China team to earn the Far East one, and the laundry-head's team for the Middle East one, but how long does one need to be on the team to earn it? UBAR doesn't say.

Notes: Participant -- As best as we can tell, you get this simply for playing the game for a short period.

As you could know I have been on the China team for 11 hours so it's more than that.

BACK ontopic, if you wanna have the Far East Ribbon you need to play Daging Oilfiels as China !
to have the MOC service ribbon you have to play Operation Clean Sweep as MOC. then you Invisniper should get the 2 ribbons if im correct.

Thanks. I'm playing Daqing Oilfields as China, but I didn't get it. I'm about to play another round to see if that will earn me it.

For the Far East ribbon, you need to play ALL maps in the Far East theater. For the Middle East ribbon, play ALL maps in the Middle East theater.

I just played 2 rounds of Daqing Oilfields and 1 of Operation Clean Sweep and I did not receive them. I played them as the MEC and PLA forces, but I'm not sure if I've played all maps as those forces. Do I just have to play them, or do I have to play as those forces?

And is there a time requirement for them? Like do I need to play each map for like an hour?

I can't be certain. I'd assume it'd be a good idea to play as those forces, but I am not sure if it's required. You should just give it a shot.

You also need 5h Global hours on PLA and MEC for the Far East and Middle East ribbons respectively.

(At least, this is according to the Wikipedia article on the awards)

I got them. They do not pop up while you are in a game. They appear annonymously in your stats. Thank you all for your help in this matter.

This Statement seems to be wrong. The Far East Service Ribbon and the Middle-East Service Ribbon just popped up in my Stats, after the following has been achieved:

Ribbon Time in Theater Time in Service
Far East 08:24:08 03:55:55 on PLA
Mid-East 10:02:16 05:20:48 on MEC

my mate has the pla riboon and he got it with under two hrs as pla

Strange, since the BFHQ tells me that Criterias are Time in Theatre and Time in Service. Guess EA knows Shit about their own Game.

ok what i meant is it must have to do with time as in you need to spend atleast a second in a server on that team ( dont have to of spawned )
but time isnt a major factor in it, as in 5 hrs like most people say.
