So I'm playing Mashur. I'm trying to take the USMC base there. I run around back and see a guy standing on the other side so I start to unload on him. He must of had a grenade on him so he chucks on at me. I watched it fly through the air and hit me square in the dome. It friggin killed me before the thing ever went off!!! I would have probably been pissed if I wasn't laughing so hard. Is this normal? If you hit sombody with a grenade it kills them? Maybe it was lag or somthing, but I was clearly dead before the grenade went off...I heard it bang after I was in the respawn screen. WTF?!?

you can get hurt by grenades if they hit your body. You can even be killed by smoke grenades in this manner, I've practiced before games start. Its pretty tricky though, half the time you can hit someone square in the head and it wont do damage, and other times you can hit them in the chest or back and it will take half their health off.
Happened to me too .... laughed all the way through the 15 second respawn.... I had some damage already and that 'nade took the rest before it went off....908741059871059781 wrote:

would be a nice feature to take stones from the ground to throw them towards enemy heads
o-k then.....
got many kills this way. even smoke grenades do damage!!! but only 50% of the life-bar was obliterated by my evil smoke grenade.... Since I know this I try to kill ppl with smoke grenades just because I want to know what the kill-message is or how the game reacts.
Ive never killed anyone doing this, but Ive been killed once buy a grenade hitting me.

Yea, funny... I got one good kill like that, I was on top of the building overlooking the hotel on karkand and saw an enemy backed into a corner. So I chucked a nade at him and watched it bounce around and kill him well before it acually exploded:) Gave me a good laugh.
Yea I killed a guy on warlord with a smoke grenade or flash bang what ever it is the assult has on the SAS side.
He was at the tv station or what ever the big cluster fuck is in the middle of the map behind the concrete barrrier. I was across the street behind the bunker, and just lobbed it over there and got a kill.

I kill my RL friend that way all the time when he is commander when we're playing together. He's just such an easy target sitting there motionless
I just killed someone like that. I also killed someone with a flashbang (but it was a TK, dumb enough to run around the corner as I threw it).

I charged this sniper once playing Assault when I went for Veteran Assault Badge. He shot at me, I shot at him, he ducked behind a corner, I ducked after, and he threw a 'nade at me. I died. THEN it goes off.

yeah, happened to me once...... me and my friend were at a local lan center and we were playing karkand. he was on the hotel roof andi was on the ground capping the flag... he was MEC and i was US and he threw a nade at me when i had 2 bars of hp left, killed me instantly, i was like GAY!~!!!! then i saw the nade explode and then i was like wtF?!?!?!
