SOME SF Unlocks NOT appearing

I am sure this has been discussed - but I cannot find anything specific.

Simple. Unlocked SCAR and a few other guns after loading SF......but they never appear to be an option to me when I am playing. Is the SCAR specific to one "side" or another......I have played a bunch of games after the unlocks and have never been able to use them.

Are you playing on SF maps?

Oddly enough, SF unlocks do not work on SF servers, just vanilla BF2 servers.

Mostly on SF.....but I played quite a bit on Karkland last night....but mostly as MEC....never as US....maybe that is the problem?
