It is a mess.

I've been playing it just so I can quickly get the last 400 points I need to get promo, I hate it.

This map no long requires skill, just shock paddles, armour, pkm or apc.

There is no strategy involved in this game except at the beggining - who can throw the grenade over the fence the furthest?

Who can spawn camp with tank and apc whilst repairing eachother?!

I was playing spec ops, standing near an entry point and blowing people sky high with c4, I got 9 kills with one blob of c4 within the first minute.

I was playing on a stupid team full of privates and didn't put AT mines on the road, they rolled up and spawn camped the hell out of us.

So I spawned at the suburb and rolled down in a vodnik and blew them all up with c4 (not jihad btw) and got 5 kills.

But seriously.

Very few spread out, its like an army of ants, I happend to pick up an empty APC and the USMC were all spawning at the hotel, in the alley opposite the TOW there were about 15 USMC and I killed them all.

Oh and if you get the TOW near the left hand USMC spawn point and somone to guard you, you get lots of kills

When I first got this game karkand was never this insane, crazy and over the top.

This is not a team orientated map.

It's just a free for all orgy.

I hate karkand now.

It's become the worst map.

It's become a monster.

I think thay should put a few attack choppers in that map. Good bye tank whores. It would not only change the map, but many players stats, because thay rely on that map with a tank for kills / points.

it just bugs me when some MEC kids keep trying to defend the hotel AFTER the USMC have a back flag. if they get a back flag it's much easier for them to get other back flags when the rest of the MEC team is still at the hotel... bah...

Karkand is full of people running around with PKM and Snipers littering the whole place with Calys! They made a patch (1.2 and then 1.21) that’s no good! Anyone can stand up with a PKM and aim and shoot it takes no skill.

Ok there is was realism in tossing C4, no realism in bunny hopping no realism in jumping and shooting (noob-toobing) so I can buy the end of that but it was not like C4 tossing Noob-toobing, Bunny hopping Dolphin-diving they were hacks or exploits. If all those things were possible in the game then why is it people could not learn them, it simply takes time.

Now instead of that nade-spamming is more common than ever, the support kit is now the most overused kit with the PKM and MG36 firing from long distance with the accuracy of sniper rifles, a new breed of players called claymore-wh....s have been created, if I prone I'm unable to get up this week and there is absolutely no realism in turning the PKM and MG36 into fully automatic sniper rifles!

Yes every round starts with a rain of nades and you don’t need to jump to toss them any longer just stand there and you can toss longer than before? What I meant is that they lowered the entry level?

Almost all the fun is gone now, you got that right!!

Karkand has turned into a massive cess pool of shit. It used to be my favorite map, now everytime it comes through the rotation I just go to the bathroom and take a big fat healthy shit. PKM snipers, claymore spammers (well before anyways..), tank whores and nade spammers is all that dwells in that map nowadays. Who the fuck finds that fun!!?? Not me.

Yer I hate Karkand 64 now. I tried 32 player karkand today and realised i loved it. It seems totally different from the 64 player, people arent spamming nades all the time or constantly camping spawns in armour, its more like a team game .

i went to node 8 the other day and unless you are master of the nade launcher it was almost unplayable.

usmc could not get past hotel at all.

Yep. 32 Player Karkand Is OK, but 64 player. Unless you are a whore, then you want live for more than a minute.

Whereas on Sharqi, I can stay alive for 5 minutes easy.

I've always enjoyed the 32 player version of kark ... the 64 player version we always end up trapped inside the wharehouse, defending it and watching the timer countdown to 0 because the USMC capped all the flags.

16 player version is too damned short lived ...

On the 64 player version, I thought the grenade spamming was limited to the server I always play it on ... lol I'm such a dope ...

I admit I've turned into a PKM whore whenever there's no tanks / apc's around though for what it's worth I always squad up and try to cap flags, not just sit around and spawn rape.

I was playing one day, node 8, when Kontolcrimson was there, 5 rounds he never left the tank(never does) and i thought to myself who am i kidding, im going to give that a go.

Havent been on foot since.

I enjoy the map more that way.

Shithouse map, and as long as you spawn as AT. Tanks can be stopped, my deaths have varied from 2 - 10 depending on the other team and their stupidity.

I was just on Karkand (Karkland for those of you in Rio Linda) and honestly there was no team work. I spawned into a group that I thought might be good as they had a supply, AT and spec-op. So I went in as medic and quickly found out they were just whoring around like a bunch of tools. Then I tried to get my own squad going to see if we could actually get some team work... no one would join me. So depressing this map. Oh well, I just picked up my basic sniper and supply so that when I actually move up I'll get First Sgt. Need some good servers.... Anyone?

I've been playing 1.12 more lately and Karkand seems better now (admittedly all the players have moved on to 1.2/1.21). I've managed to get some really good teamwork going playing on both sides and some hellishly long matches have taken place. Good fun.

The main thing that has been pissing me off lately about Karkand is the claymores and the noobs. Lately the 2 most ways I have died is from either claymores at the beginning of every single allyway or all the noobs with the PKM's shooting in every direction.

lol i got so bored at karkand (around 30 hours straight on KARKAND ONLY and that's like month for me)

so i just started to play on wake especially chinese

j-10 frigging pwns now.. i don't even care about f-35b.. all i have to do when locked is just do a split s and some loops to lose the jet and get on his ass, shoot 2 and i win

and just swipe the aa sites with mg and i get like 2 kills

wake is so better now.. because noobs now don't really want to take the jets so most of time it's free
