I find that airplanes are a bane to the game, the dominate so much that it's almost impossible at times to function as a ground unit.

To add some sanity to the planes, i would love to see either some tighter limits being placed on their performance or what i'd really like to see is for them to have to LAND to reload with a time period on the ground to re-arm. And or make them run out of fuel.. the more you use the After burners poof.. no more gas..

Just a thought, and yes i think about this more then the average guy cause i can't fly jets worth a darn

Play on maps without planes. We ground pounders have unlimited ammo and health with medics, engineers, support guys and boxes. Not only do planes in BF2 have to deal with AA and bullets, they must do so with significantly less protection than in pre-1.2.

People who don't fly shouldn't be making balance suggestions against those who do...

the planes are not that big of a deal anymore. learn how to use the AA effectively. but if you go against a really good pilot... well have fun lol.

i really dont c what ur problem is, although those carrier maps where u r tryin 2 get in a chopper or plane and u have an absolute nOOb in tha AA hoo wont get out and u cant move a step without bein strafed or bombed by da nmy plane, that sux.

Stop complaining about planes. They are balanced in the game just find with the new patch. There is nothing with them, you simply dont like them, get over it.
