I've sat in them, I've driven them all for longer than 10 minutes as required, but nothing's happened! I'm frazzled...so much gameplay with no results...makes me sad    what do I need to do, 'exactly?'

by transport, I talk about the APC's, the Russian Amphibious tank and the humvee's and buggies...no success. I've tried them all!!!

Get in a FAV and drive around Kubra Dam for 10 minutes or so just defending flags. Easiest way, but beware of those slightly pesky helicopters.

The basic awards that require only time have some additional requirements that are not mentioned here. Usually they are things like, you must be shooting at enemies or being shot at or something like that. When I first started trying to get basic awards I had the same problem as you, but then I actually took the vehicles and engaged the enemy wth them, and got the awards.

Yes, because you were attacking people as commander. Had you taken the hummer to the edge of the map and sat for the round you would not have gotten it.

just get in the vodnik on karkand and go behind the factory and stay there for 10 min

and it pops up

APCs (including that Russian thing) don't count as transport - they're armour. This could be part of the problem.

Good luck with the badge, though you've probably got it by now. All I did was zip around on Daqing Oilfields in a jeep for 10 minutes making a nuisance of myself.
