I was on the brink of starting a new thread about the difference of an intentional RAMMMING a jet into an enemy chopper/jet, and an occasional and accidental COLLISION.
However, just in time, i found the SEARCH button - hardly no one ever uses before starting a new redundant thread - to find this was already covered in this thread.
So i will revive this old one.
Statement: it gets old and hairy to hear that "RAM"-cry all the time for no reason at all.
After all does it reallly matter if you are killed from the explosion of the collision or from the rockets/guns ??
And you spawn the same 15 seconds later anyway !! Its a game, remember ?
I agree with Barney_T-Dinosaur that it gets VERY annoying when, ONCE IN A WHILE AND AS AN EXCEPTION to the way you play the rest of a round, you Collide into a flying object you could not avoid FOR A NUMBER of reasons, if the enemy pilot yells "RAM" right away.
Question: could you please shut up and play on if it happens.
IF the same pilots does it 4 times in a row - the same way- THEN you can yell RAMM all you want./
Example: i was flying a rather nice round on Dragon Valley - or was it Wake ? - in a J10, and after destroying 2 full Cobras and 2 F35s plus a number of armor/ ground troops, giving me 15 kills ''by the book", i run out of ammo. Why? PLA airfield had been captured. What now, airdrop and flag recapture, or ....
take down the US chopper over that airfield first ? Indeed, NOW i DID RAM my jet into it > guess what, chopper pilot yells : RAMMM, and NOOB of course.
Other example: Kubra Dam , in MIG you try to avoid the cranes, the mountains, your friendly SU at 700 miles/hr, but suddenly an enemy Cobra pops up behind DAM > boom collision > RAM
I say , shit happens, no big deal. Cobra pilots happily finds opportunity to yell RAM.
Sidenote: how come its mostly UNCAP USMC pilots who cry RAM ?? Think about it...
I might not be the best jet pilot, I know im not the worst either; at least I engage enemy jets/choppers/armor first thing instead of mindless Uncap bombing for stats-sake !
So to all of you who will yell "RAMMM"" the next time I hit you, I will cry " BULLLL" in response...
And you react with " NOOOB" to that, i will reply with " COW" or "SHEEP"
My only fear is that this post will only be read by the people who do NOT cry "RAM" mindlessly, and who know the rather BIG difference between intentional RAM and an occasional MID-AIR-COLLISION >
