I started flying a couple days ago... I have gotten alright IMO right now. I can shoot down other fight pilots... I can dodge missle occasionally... and I have bombing down great. My main problem is I don't seem to avoid missles enough. I was wondering if anyone could lay it out for me what might need to be done in order to astop getting pwned by people so easily. In j10s I can dodge alright.... but in f35 I blow huge donkey ****. Any tips are helpful... and do I need to increase sensitivity? I use a joystick.

It depends on if you're trying to dodge air to air missiles or if you're trying to dodge stingers and IGLAs.
Air to air missiles had their turning rates reduced with the last patch, so your best bet is to turn as hard as you can in one direction while either gaining or losing a bit of altitude. Then again, there have been times when I've been following an enemy jet and launched a couple missiles at himonly to see them fly right past him, despite me being locked on, him not dropping flares, and him flying perfectly straight and level.
With ground based missiles, you're in a bit of trouble if you don't have flares. Your best bet is to take them out before they get a chance to see you. I recommend doing this by flying up high (about 300-400 meters), then coming in at a very sharp angle with guns blazing. If you don't take them out then turn straight up and let loose with your flares...then try again.

Try the Wiki guides for info. Excellent stuff!
Can I get the address for that... can't seem to find it. I mean air/air combat... it's not as bad with the j10 as is the f35... I never seem to dodge... I try hard turns with the altitude adjustment... dunno... maybe I need to adjust my sensitivity? No clue... but it is annoying.
I have found that afterburners are a life saver! Even without flares! If your locked onto by another player(jet), then your best bet is to do that sweat manouver(sp) where you pull back on the stick, punch the burners and do a 1/2 back flip. once your upside down, barrel-roll to the upright position and then bank to either direction. the baddie flying behind you will try to follow, but always ends up doing a full loop, and with your roll and bank, slopws you down enough to get behind them as they finish their loop... lock on, and boom!
for the SAM's since the new patch they can track like mofo's! your best bet like they said above is to bank hard, drop some flares, punch the burners and boogie out of there. then reposition from a different vector and approach the SAM and light em up with the 50(or whatever you got) and some bombs (if needed).
Never underestemate the burners! They have saved my ass 1000% more than before I even knew about them!

use mouse and keyboard. put mouse sensitivity at 2.7 and non-inverted. When locked up do a cartwheel with full afterburn, while releasing flares if your in a f-35 or MEC Su-34, as they have the largest hitboxes and get hit even with full cartwheel 3/4 of the time. Never fly straight while your being locked on or you will die.

What are you lot talking about, you can't dodge missiles anymore lol.
The J-10 can dodge missles whilest flying straight... any other plane can't.
If you're in a J-10, you will rarely get shot down.. if you're in an F-35/F-18 vs. a J-10, you will die, unless the J-10 pilot sucks.. and even then, you'll probally die. The J-10 can out-turn any plane in the game..easily. So basically, he can get away from you.. but you have no chance to get away from him.

Yea, I have noticed when I am in the j-10 I get hit once in a blue moon. I also noticed that I kill everything else in the air with ease. Makes the game kind of pointless for flying when the j10s have that advantage.
And please be reminded that the F-35 has a hitbox big as a donkey's ass. That's why missiles hit you easily. pre-patch the F-35 can already be hit @ 90 degrees angle, so avoidance is just that slightly harder.
