This is 2 questions, the first one is , is there an easier way to get repair points it takes me forever just to get like 8 and i keep falling short of 10 . The second question is my player doesn't crouch at all never did and no matter what key i set it to he still wont which is realllyyy annoying. Any ideas on both??

Easiest to get repair points by being in a vehicle.  You don't tire out and you repair faster.  Also I found that following a tank or APC in a transport vehicle is an easy way to get repairs.

Cannot comment on the second part of your question.

Sometimes you can fall into the repair points just from arty/uav/scan trailers.  Just watch for that, else do the pack thing w/ other vehicles and repair that way.  It's really not all that hard, I don't have the hours in yet for the vet badge but have done it at least twice.

The crouch thing is a good one as I have the same thing.

I just got mine this weekend.  I was playing SF for a rare moment and when I spawned in a guy killed me at the main base.  Before I respawned I noticed our assets were blown.  I came back as engineer and fixed our stuff.  About the time I was done, he came back.  I let him blow our stuff, I killed him, fixed everything again.  He was  determined to keep our assets down.  I killed him 9 times and I know an APC was helping me.  Badge was easy at that point.

PS.  Use the standard weapon not that crappy shotgun.  Might as well use your pistol and knife.

Just hope that you get an enemy that's adamant about blowing up your team's assets. That's how I got mine. Got it on Cleansweep Operation. I wasn't even planing on it, just in the right server at the right time I guess. I just noticed that the enemy special ops kept on coming back every single time we fixed all the assets. So I just camped the assets let him blow it up and then blew him away with the shotty and then wrenched away.

Or just hope that your commander pisses the enemy off with artillary. I mean if I got killed mostly by artillery I would be pissed like anyone would and go blow the enemy commander's assets just so that he wouldn't be able to use it, simply for revenge and then hunt down the commander himself to knife him. It's quite annoying to say the least to be blown up by arty.

When I command I use the artillary every chance that I can. Sometimes it just so happens that I get the same guy or group of people every single time. He/she/they gets pissed at me and comes blow up my assets. Sometimes they hunt my ass down but I got the scan and set up an ambush which pissed them off even more.

Like others have said the vehicle pack option is always good. Maps like Songhu, Kubra, Zatar, Daquing, FuShe etc are good. Just get you and a friend/squad member in 2 or more APCs/Tanks, best if you are both engineers and stick together.

I got 18 repair points one night by following a tank in my APC. The tanks are a bigger threat than the APC is, so everyone usually shoots at the tank first.. so I get more repairs than the tank does.

About the crouch thing... I had that happen to me while playing on my friends computer, but mine doesn't do it.

Maybe retrieve your account again?

I got my Veteran Repair Badge by sitting in the back of a Vodnik while my other squad mates were driving around.  The vehicle takes damage going over rough terrain as well as one anti-tank shot won't kill it right away.  The good thing is that you can repair a transport vehicle very quickly so I kept racking up those points.  I also repaired my commander's assest when they were damaged/destroyed.

The bar indicates the remaining "energy" of your wrench. It goes down, if you repair something and refills, if you stop. Easy as that.
