In fact, they should extend the range you can cap flags from within a vehicle. For airplanes, you should be able to cap them by being within 300 meters.

while we're on the subject of balancing vehicles, i would like to share my idea on how to balance the planes. i think that planes on bf2 should not be able to fly. that way it would give infantry a fair chance to defeat them.

Great idea! Make them more like hover-vehicles. On the topic of balance, I think all small arms bullets should become armor piercing and do as much damage as AT rounds. Then, you could REALLY give it to a tank with your AK-101!

Um... umpteenth that. This is the most retarded idea ever. I think that most vehicles are perfectly balanced as is..... don't even attempt to suggest these to EA becuase you will have a horde of people at your front door within an hour.
