You could have at least just moved the thread. Sure, it had definitely gone off-topic and no longer was fit for the Chatter forum, but you could have just moved it to a more suitable forum such as "Debate and Serious Talk" or "Not BF2S, Not BF2".

The conversation was constructive.

Ah, some mod just deleted a thread called "Is this base raping?" or some such, where the topic of conversation went from base raping to amateur psychoanalysis.

Then all of a sudden, after composing a well thought out post, I find that it is deleted.
