I was typing in Battlefield 2 to get to ea's site and I came across a sponsored link for them. I can believe that they're bad news. They just finished their BF2 hacks a few weeks ago I think. I'm thinking of clicking on their sponsored Google link over and over again just so they loose money. who knows, mabye if we all do that they will go bankrupt...lol

Doesnt change the fact that it is a shitty fucking aimbot.  I kill people faster by aiming at their head with my skillbot.

After seeing this I'm sure I've been killed by people using that crap...I get SRAWed/TOWed at distances FAR FAR beyond visual range on Karkand all the time, by people I'm not necessarily even shooting at (which gives away your location)...I'm sure some of it is skill, some of it is simply people having played the damn map for 600 hours w/o ever seeing a different theatre in BF2, but some of it is pretty fishy.

A week or two ago I was by the MEC warehouse on Karkand, and I rolled up behind the dumpster right outside the main garage doors (where people spawn) in my APC....that gives about 85% cover to an APC.  And someone I couldn't even see TOWed me from down by the bridge, as I sat there looking for infantry.  Given the fact I couldn't see them with my 100% viewscale, and that only 15% of my APC's top was showing, AND he was lower, which means it would be even harder to get over the dumpster, I'm thinking thats gotta be hacks all the way. 

I don't like the fog of war any more than the next guy, but it pisses me off that all these immature little douchebags aren't satisfied with a level playing field, or actually having to, like, have skill and practice to be able to play well.  And to top off not having any fog of war, they have bright colored models and programs that aim FOR YOU? Where's the enjoyment?  The satisfaction in knowing your skill beat someone?

Would these same people show up to a marathon in their car, then brag when they beat the joggers by 2 hours?

Wtf...how can people who are obviously so intelligent in some ways (programming, math, etc.) be so FUCKING SOCIALLY RETARDED?  Didn't mommy and daddy teach you the concept of fairness and sharing?  Haven't you ever played a SPORT, hell even participated in gym class, to know what teamwork and sportsmanship/fair play are all about?  Obviously not. 

So sit in your dark room, working on your pasty anti-tan, hating the world because you're scared to go out into it, because you simply don't have the basic empathy or social skills to form any meaningful relationships aside from your super-l337 hacker buddies.

Oh well, rant over...I owned many a wallhacker and aimbotter in CS & CS:S. The lack of skill inherent in anyone using a hack usually means the truly skilled can still prevail.

Doesn't look like an aimbot to me. It looks like he just knew when and where to shoot because of the colors coming through the walls. Then again he did shoot through the wall one time.

Here is what helps me sleep at night: ()

1) Hackers cheat because they suck otherwise.
2) Perfect aim is just as attainable without hacks as with it.
3) Even with perfect aim, a hacker will still not do well without good situational awareness, knowledge of what weapon to use and when, knowledge of how to move to not expose yourself to fire, knowledge of maps, knowledge of terrain advantage, etc.
4) Even with hacks to augment a cheaters lack of the above, they still can only be at best as good as a very good player.

What you would really have to fear is a very good legit player using hacks, but I'd venture to say that 99% of the very good players don't use hacks out of principle, and got that good because of the need to adapt and learn. Hackers never really get better, because they rely on a crutch to do as well as they do.

The average cheater is nothing to be feared, as they are usually at best just another noob being destroyed in your sights.

Just once i want to run into a game cheater in person bragging about it. I would love to beat his ass.

Probably not the source, but one way they could have sent this is right through this forum.  If I click on E-Mail next to most of your names I am given a field through which this forum will send the email.  I just don't get to see your address and you get to see mine when the message arrives.
