CO must Spots enemies at right time ... ?

Hello to all,
I read that on another forum:
#"Unfortunately rookie commanders do a scan and "spot" enemies before the scan is completed and the red dots #are still on their commander screen which does nothing but spam "enemy xxxx spotted" without showing the #enemy in the teams HUD. Commanders need to wait until the scan is done and then only spot enemies that are #trying to flank your team." !!!!!

yeah i noticed that when i was flying a jet and doing a 1 vs 1 dual with another guy in a jet. the game didnt start due to lack of players. and i brought upt hte command screen, scaned halfway and spotted him, so i can find him. i brought the screen down and i see no freakin symbol.

its so lame i played 220 hours some and i still don't know this >.<

Thats why you can zoom into the overhead view with the "N" key. You can actually see the individual soldiers running. I do this all the time when I have guys outside of the UAV that need eyes. You can basically act as a second UAV for your troops.

ive been having trouble spotting humvees and vodniks. it just sez enemy forces. but yea u gotta wait till the scan goes through ive always noticed em not appear so to avoid spamming like crazy i wait a few then spot away

Well anyways yeah I noticed that but never thought anything of it. I thought it was just some bug. I'll keep that in mind from now on thanks.

Good info. i bet a lot of us did not know that.

I only wish more commanders would actually use the radar and spotted enemies that are OUTSIDE the UAV circle.
A lot of them seem to think their CO work is done after a drop of arty and a deploy of UAV...

well sometimes they get tired of squad leaders who reject orders. i hate those little red X's. i feel like dropping artillery on their heads just to punish them. lol.
