I didn't bash your English. That being said, a lot of people who play this game act like they are fighting a real war and think of their awards and stats as accomplishments, which I find sad. But I apologize for thinking you were one of them.
They are accomplishments. They are defined as that because they are awards, and are awarded.
They have no value outside of the game, but if you've been trying for months and months to get your W:L ratio up and you get the WCR, you have to be happy.
I am not saying you are wrong, but it is just my opinion that they are not accomplishments. They are simply byproducts of playing a game.
I hate to bring out the old saw of dictionary.com, but here you go, marine.

ac·com·plish·ment
n.
1. The act of accomplishing or the state of being accomplished; completion.
2. Something completed successfully; an achievement.
ex: "I've accomplished my previous goal of getting a ribbon in my first match on my first account."
Nowhere does it state that an accomplishment has to be tactile. You could win at a chess tournament, and have no more of an excuse call it an accomplishment as you would in BF2. You could get employee of the month at a Safeways, which would mean absolutely Jack sh*t to a ranch hand. Or you could get some obscure service ribbon in Iraq which wouldn't earn you a second glance from a Frenchman.
That being said, BF2 awards are in place for the enjoyment of its players, not for the US military to sift through and look for the best K/D ratios from which to recruit their next 5-star generals for a world war. My BF2 awards, some of them displayed in my signiture, indicate that I like vehicles (particularly aircraft), infantry (particularly specops/g36/pistols), squads, commanding, teamplay and winning. At the same time, the absence of SF army ribbons say that I haven't played it very much. Thus, my style is given away without any need to even take a cursory glance into the numbers.
And I'll respond for you, so you don't have to go to the effort:
whatever
