Ever since 1.21 was released I have had the red name bug more often than ever before. However, what surprised me is when I first encounted the blue name bug. A player in an enemy uniform had a blue name and tried to kill me, but I turned around and owned him with my PKM...and was credited a normal kill, not a teamkill. Even more surprising is the GREEN name bug I encountered. Somehow, an enemy spawned on me (I was a squad leader) with a green name, and started shooting at me, but once again I turned around and popped him with my PKM.

The "red name" goes both ways, so I've seen that before. But, uh, enemies spawning on you. I think not. I'll need some screenshots before I believe that.
It does happen. At the beginning of a match on Karkand I was on MEC, but I spawned on the U.S. uncap as their commander. I had a blue name and the commander star according to them. I spawn killed about 30 of them before they realized I was bugged. When they killed me, I respawned normally as MEC.

What I'm saying is that people from the enemy team have blue/green names. If I were to kill them, I would get credited for a normal kill, not a teamkill. This bug HAS happened to me a few times. It's not something you can predict, and at the time my main concern was killing the guy with my PKM...taking a screenshot hadn't occured to me until I realized what had happened. I've also seen bugs on karkand where a MEC player would spawn on the U.S.'s uncap at the start of the round, and get gunned down pretty fast.
I had a similar situation happen to me just today infact. My partner and I where in a squad on Warlord and we where duking it out the end of the round comes along the game auto switches sides and I spawn up. Here is where the weird part comes in, it showed me being a squad member. I did not think much of it until I went to join my partners squad and it would not let me leave and join the squad I wanted to be in. Then there was the name of a member of the oppisite team as my squad leader. I could have spawned on him but I did not. Very strange stuff if you ask me, infact had I thought about it I would have spawned on him everytime I died just to get a kill in. kind of cheesy but I bet you would have done the same if you had the chance I'm pretty sure! Any way it's got to be something with the patch because that has never happened before!

It's a bug, and an old one. It is nothing new (not the spawning part). Fancy do a search. Again your post is merely a resonse to an existing thread. This doesn't need to be a new topic. There are tons of "red name" threads. This belongs there.

And yes the bug you are posting is OLD. Same as red bug just opposite. Tends to happen to me when I leave my firewall on when I join a server. It caused by misinformation when joining a server.

I think you can spawn at the enemy when the squadleader of squad2 on the other team has the red name bug and you are in squad 2 of your team or something like that.
i ususally hear "enemy APC spotted" and when i look on the minimap to see where it is, i see a flashing green APC, and when it comes into view, i can see its an enemy, but its still flashing green on the minimap
Here is a good example. My mate was in my squad his name was red. He spawned on me he had the other kit on I shat myself and kiled with him G3, I got kill points, and he said in TS wtf are you doing noob?
I looked and could of revived him, it could of been statspadders heaven but I just went back to the heli and raged:)
