I dont know if this is the right thread for this story but here goes.

I life in Holland and am 15 years old. I have been playing BF2 like mad for about 1,5 months or so.
I usually am a MEC soldier cus the medics have this awesome gun .
Anyways I keep hearing this Iraqi chatter over my speakers, like everybody else.
But here is where the problems come. When I'm on school and doing my own thing, not concetrating @ the teacher I keep hearing the same sentances the MEC soldiers say! It freaks me out. Its like BF2 has become my life and there are MEC soldiers after every corner, I just cant see them. But I can hear em :S.
What do you suggest? Less playing, Be USA or start seeing a psychiatrist?

Search your feelings Luke....

*Through intercom* Luke you switched off your targeting computer. Is everything alright?

*Reply* I'm alright

Then he blows up the death star.

Moral of the story?: If you can hear the enemy, you can blow up the death star.

36 hours in 1 and a half months is not too much.  Try turning off native languages in the options menu.  If that doent work then maybe you are being stalked by some MEC soilders with some sort of stealth suit.  You never know

I like hearing the chinese chatter. Course, being able to understand it helps a lot too.

36 hours in a month? I started playing on 20th August. It's now 3rd October, and I'm up to 118 hours (at the time of writing).

Want my advice? Turn the Voice Over option so it's always English. Not only can you understand what people are saying without needing to read the chatter, but after a while it fades into the background (along with all other things the Americans say).

I have found out that by doing that you cant tell who is or who isnt on your team *Everything is in English*.  My feelings - just stick with the other "sayings" and use them with caution ha!

Ditto that one...I had it all English at one time and had that problem.  It's just too hard to tell who's who like that.

I had the problem too scared up half in the night from planes bombing my AA-site but also in daytime when i was cautious for anything i was afraid a enemy plane would show up it was scary though. i just played less when i noticed these things started too happen.

a other fact about the foreign languageses is some say senteces in other languageses too, for example lekke werjken from your MEC soldiers sounds just like "lekker werken" in dutch and it drove me really mad that made me force too use the option force native language.

ME and my friends sometimes call "Need a medic here" if we fall down in our gym class at school but that's only fun xD

Though i'm playing a lot i don't hear the voices ^^ but i'm kind of addicted as well xD i can hardly spend a day without playin'.

I'm sorry, I don't understand.

Anyway, I heard that their only function is to distract you from playing.
