my buddy just got a new comp and he's letting me use his "old" one indefinitely (not a bad comp, i know it will run bf2).

i'm wondering how i can install bf2 on it and not have cd key problems. it would work if i put in my cd key, but then i wouldn't be able to have someone else playing on it at the same time as i play on my comp, right? is there any way to deal with this that also wouldn't make EA think i downloaded it or anything?

I'm pretty sure you're right about not being able to use both at the same time you'd need a second CD key to do this..... Although you could try the "help" forums :p

well i thought about posting it in help, but it seems like help is more "argg bf2 is crashing again, wtf do i do...and bug problems, and "help me get my knife badge" and stuff. i dunno. if a mod wants to move it, i'm sure they will.

you will have no problems installing it on the other computer. when it asks u to register, just click register later. then when u start up the game, retrive your profile rather than create a new profile.

but u will not be able to play the same version on both computers at the same time using the same Key. it will not let one login to the account server if you try this.
