oke so it seems like alot of the community agree with me and favour the idea of 1 or 2 infantry maps...

all you players who HAVE to play with YOUR tank or PLANE etc - u really dont have to worry cos all your WHORING maps will still be there e.g. wake, strike, fushe etc etc


SO EA / DICE - get on with it!

my idea is that the next expansion pack after Armoured Fury is an INfantry only one!

We can only hope!

Naa, they should give away mappacks or a free map with new patches, which would greatly enhance the BF2 experience. And a free map could look like this:

Thats why I look forward to the mods, their staff outperform the modellers and mapmakers of EA/Dice with considerable ease, so it seems to me.

As to the infantry only map idea, I agree. A new map or two that is infantry only with transport vehicles (no tanks, apcs, helicopters or planes) would be very nice.

Euroforce and Armoured Fury are mainly about tanks in my opinion, and we need some infantry maps like sharqi and strike..

Does it really matter? Everyone ends up going back to Karkand or Jalalabad. And like others said, BF2 is about the vehicles. I remember hating helicopters and jets when I first strated playing, and once I gave them a spin, I appreciated them. Not that I'm any good in jets, or great in a heli, but never trying them out would just make me a noob who plays Karkand all day.

But srsly, Karkand's not too bad... just make it less desireable. If EA's plan goes fine (having lots of people go to 2142 and leave BF2) then either all servers will be Karkand or the only people left will be those who appreciate a good game and we'll see more full rotation servers and booster pack servers.

EA/DICE, You need to constantly test, and test your patches, everyone computer is different, every server is different.  You need to think about customer support rather than making the all mighty dollar.  You customer service with patches sucks, your prices are fair, but you need to go BEYOND and give patch updates every 2 weeks, for example, steam.  they wont even let you play on a server unless you have an update version of the game.

I agree, go buy COD2....the best part of this game is the variety with the vehicles...
