Am I the only one that wants a remodeled, new engine, better graphic, more maps of BF1942?

Yeah, they should go back to WW2 instead of this stupid futuristic thing that they are making. And, from what I have heard, it uses the same engine as BF2.

They bloody well should. Get rid of all the MEC crapness and give us some germans to shoot! I wouldn't want them to remake the levels exactly the same though, like they did with wake and the bf vietnam thing they released.

They should remake it; I can't remember whether '42 had squads (although I think it didn't)??? A stats system would be awesome, and I have seen on the net mods that have shifting warfronts dependent on which side wins or loses, incorporating this into '42 would be interesting. One of my favorite things about ’42 were the pseudo naval battles with the destroyers and such, I would hope they could perhaps expand this feature. One last thing I’m dying to try the 128 player battles we were supposed to get with Battlefield 2.

Though not a replica of 1942,  it will be WW2 on BF2's platform.
