wife/Pregnant
2 kids 3 and 1 years
Work full time and my wife works 30 hr a week, most when I am home with the kids.
usually only play after the kids go to sleep unless i can talk my wife into letting me play about once a week. I then get the massive guilt trip for not spending enough time with the fam.  I have gotten the No Sex threat a few times.  Needless to say the wife usually wins that battle.

Makes it real hard to keep up my stats with my single brother.

Back when I was in High School (Grades 9-12) (Ages 14-18) in the US the AP Classes were for Advanced Placement.  Some of them you could take and get college credit for.  Others you could take and surpass the 4.0 grade point average if they had an "extended scale."

That's the basis of Advanced Placement "AP Classes"

9month old Boy

I go to work at about 10am and home by 7pm then spend some time with wife and baby until they are both in bed by 10:30pm I then play for 2-3 hours. (I can get in 3-4 rounds of good play and I am happy)
Wife doesnt like me playing games so I can only play once they are in bed.
I think I have a pretty easy arangement here.. no complaints

I have nothing to do at work except wait for a tornado, so I'll throw another one out.

Granted I was married for a few years.  But I've always been of the opinion, if I'm home, and I have a woman to go to bed with, I'd much rather be planning an "undercover ambush" than anything else.

Funny, I do remember one girl that cried to get an A too, back in high school.

My BF2 life.  Wife, 2 boys (8 years, 18 months).  Youngest sleeps at 8pm.  Older son sleeps at 9pm.  Wife normally sleeps at 11pm.  Weekends are filled with relatives/neighbors/friends kids birthday parties, amusement parks, outdoor family activities, cleaning house, 8 year old's school activities, etc.   Come summer, 8 year olds sports activities, martial arts, swimming, etc.  Now, just getting my 8 year old into the VEX robotics kit.  Gaming playtime is 11pm for a few hours, a few times a week.

Do you go to school in Singapore?  Is 90% good enough in Singapore?  I have two young nephews in Singapore now.  School is far more tough there than here in the States.  To start, they have two Kindergarten grades, a year earlier than here.  And then, they rank all students in class from who's first to last.  Major pressure for those at the bottom.

Work M-F 8:30-4:30.
Their Mom takes them every other weekend for a day and a half.
That is when she has the money for food or gas for her car.
But she always has money for Internet, Cable and WOW.

I get to do all things.  Feed kids and self.
Do everyone's laundry.  Clean house. Baths for kids.  Tee Ball.
Hang out with the Girlfriend and her 2 kids. Girlfriend doesn't live with me.

I usually play from 8PM to 11PM.
I'm usually starting the dishwasher,
and the washer and dryer in between loading rounds.
And folding, and putting things away.

To watch me you'd think I'm a speed freak.

You'd think I'd play all weekend long on my off weekends but I don't.  I hang out with the girlfriend and just lounge about.  Don't get me wrong.  I love the game and I love to work on my skills, but nothing's more important than family.  If I'm having an excellent round and I'm working on a basic badge, and all the sudden I have a kid calling for me, well I get up to tend to the kid and blow the round most times.  It's fun because I get to play with my friends most nights, but this ain't life.
I'm never going to make General, or have 500 Gold Stars, or be one of the top ranked players in the world, and I'm fine with that.

So do I win?
Respect!  Awesome father figure.

Cool.  Mostly in real estate or stocks/commodities too?  Got into the Hansen's stock?  3800% growth since 2000.

Curious what your yearly budget is.  With family and all, $1million won't take me to the grave.

If only someone in my lineage invested in Microsoft when it went public, lol.

Anybody that gets upset over something like a B is just sad, even if they get straight A's. It's human nature to mess up, get over it. I get straight B's, and I don't cry about it. I do feel kinda bad about it though, because I know if I try hard I can get A's. I'm supposedly extremely bright... but I'm such a lazy bum that I dont really try and get B's. I'm sure that'll change when college looms more closely, but for now I'm fine.

I didn't realize how many daddies were on these forums lol. Im only 16, so i have to juggle school work and such with my playtime. i usualy play on weekends, but my mom hates me playing games. I hope to marry someone when I am older and have a couple a of kids. They may be pains sometimes, but hey, u gotta love kids. I have two baby nephews, 3 and 3 months. They are cute. I think i will probaly stop playing games so much once I start college in 2 years. I gotta shape up or my mom will probaly go nuts and burn all of my games, so yeah. I have it pretty good.

im a freshman in high school so its not too hard to get game time. i do have to pay for internet and stuff too though. i play 2 days out of 5 weekdays because of rugby, or badminton (it's not a sissy sport if anyone thinks so). then on weekends, i play both days unless i have a rugby or badminton game. dont need much time studying cause im a freshman but in a couple of years ill get a lot less cause of the AP's im going to take, im being forced to take all AP's in my senior year!
yep that hapend when i was in 7th

Easy, in real estate.  In Southern California, virtually every house/condo went up about $100K in value in just the last year.  In the last 5 years, most California homeowners are sitting pretty with well over $400K-$600K in equity, or more.  If you had bought a house about 5-6 years ago, the value would have tripled or quadrupled by now.  Savvy real estate investors in the last 5 years could buy a house with no money down or take a second mortgage to cover the down payment (assuming good credit and job of course).   And so, this investor could easily turn over houses every few months.  You had buyers in bidding wars over your home, offering money well above your asking price.  This year though, it's slowed down a bit.  One home in my neighborhood, which is about $50K above market, has been in the market now for a month.  The golden days are ending.

Or the other real estate mogul, buying and leasing homes.  Neighbor at my San Diego house is leasing their home (bought new about 10 years ago, with probably a $1K monthly payment, including taxes and insurance).  He's now leasing the home for over $2K a month.  $1K easy money.

Or one of my friends.  Buying old apartments, fixing them up, and being a renter mogul.
