I remember when I first started playing that this map was often in regular rotation. Now almost nobody plays this one. Even less than Songhua. Do people hate this map or something? I find nothing wrong with it and I enjoy a good mix of maps. It did have that annoying spawn glitch but other than that I see nothing wrong with it. Its fun, bring it back someone.
It's an OK map, but it totally sucks having to walk 20 miles to the next CP if you don't have transportation.
songhua stalemate is a beautiful map, quite fun too I think. Zatar also has it's charm, but when you have driven a apc/buggy across half the map just to be bombed by an air plane it kinda sux. As long as it's 32player size and no über pilots are in the game it can be quite fun sometimes.
It used to be my most played map but now days jets and aa tanks ruin it (for me at least). It can be fun in jeeps ect but like the guy above me wrote, it's not fun when you get bombed to shit out of nowhere and have no way of defending yourself.
Zatar is my favorite map for flying jets. I like the way it works out with a good team that advance flag by flag to the air field as you support them and then you have two airfield to reload at and can split up with other jet to take two parts of the map. It is quite boring on the ground though, even playing armor you'll often drive a tank for 3 minutes only to get killed by C4 hidden in the tall grass.
I'm still with many others wanting a bomber on Zatar Wetlands.

Yeah like you say it is not bad as long as you dont drive for ages only to get bombed by a good pilot, then you start feeling like he is delieberately targeting you everytime you get close to the enemy control points.
You always feel like you would be best just commiting suicide when you find yourself in the middle of no where and have to walk for ages just to get anywhere!
