The commander glitch is the nuke of bf2 stats. ANY commander can fall victim to it not just the ones who do it on purpose. if the server admin does not like the player and they are commander on winning team they can infact jack up there scores to the point of no return and there is nothing the vicitim can do besides relize his fate of having 0 points. All it takes is 1 bonehead admin and So many accounts could be affected.

im sure it has happend theres no way of telling who did it for the own benifit and who was a victim. Thats why its a much bigger deal then everyone thinks and i made this post.

I was victim of the server where comander was padding stats Then he turns around and ses 10 bux for 20.000 points i was like thanx but no thanx and exited out of that server

The commander glitch is all on the admin side of things and any winning commander could be affected.

I'd like to know how to avoid it though. Could an immediate alt-F4 save you? Playing on larger servers with fixed map cycles lowers the risk I guess.

yes i am guilty of doing it and thats why i posted this because while i was doing it i realized how deadly it truly was.Only way to avoid it is not to command tell a hotfix is released.

Agree. If you have done this then sit quiet. Don't give this information to the people, we all know how many crappy admins out there. I wish [bf2s] admins could do something about this topic (like deleting before too many people have read* this).
