i've just ordered a saitek x52 that should arive tomorrow, i was wondering how many of you have one and how it responds in bf2? i've never had a flight stick controller before, how easy is it to use? i'm pretty good with mouse and keyboard as it is, any difficultys converting? just some curious thoughts...
I use the x45 and it works pretty well. The turns are not as sharp using the rudder, but flying a chopper is MUCH easier when using a throttle.
Is said to be the best there is, was sold out when i wanted one so i bought Thrustmaster Top Gun AfterBurner FFB instead - its also a great addition to BF2 :-)

what u guys think of a logitech attack 3??? shall i get one theyre piss cheap!!
i have the x52 and love it...its worth the cash u spent on it
make sure you update the drivers in it via the control panel - thenu can go to their site forums (must be registered) and get the BF2 profile for it...
if u like heres my BF2 X52 profile (Joes BF2 X52)- very similar - i added full throttle to turn on the afterburner and acouple other switches for voice, talking to team and commander - the other 2 files in that folder are from saiteks forums...they the default ones from that site if u wanted them...
enjoy the new stick!!

I just got the X52 as an upgrade from my Evo. Man this thing is awesome . . . when it works.
Still trying to figure out what buttons to map to what function.
